Sorry but this headset is overpriced when looked at the headphones' frequency response. It's "only" 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

I've bought a g390 headset and i can honestly tell you guys, do NOT waste your money on this headset. It is the worst headset i've ever used in my life. It is fine for music but if you want to play a game you won't be able to hear shit because the base crackle and shit. And if you were wondering if i just got a bad copy of them let me tell you, I've returned the first pair i bought and got a new pair, and it still has the same problems. Stay the fuck away from this headset.

yes , my second. The first one i had to RMA because one side was not working (left side)

Apperently this is a design fault. Now to move on to the one I have now, it is the same problem again and only after a few months. Logitech should be your better shoice over the steelseries

(though if you really want it go ahead) Also to reccommend: Sennheiser 330 G4ME sennheiser 360G4ME.

I suggest buy the G35 since battery in g930 will die in a few years and there is no spare part available..Also you only have 10hrs use after battery runs out, just imagine it´s a cell phone and if you listen to music all day you need to plug it and recharg almost 1 or 2 time a days (that´s bother me -.-). The sound is the same in G35 and G930 only change from a good kevlar cable to wireless-battery, it´s up to you. I VOTE FOR G35 :)

Ok so is this like "real" surround sound like you would have with a surround sound system? Or is it simulated? It´s emulated, never the same. With real 7.1 you can have several sounds split in to different speakers.

What drivers do is tottaly different, they just ping point the location of the 2.0 sound and emulate them so you can tell if it´s up/down infront/orback with the help of the several speakers build inside the headset, but is not the same as a 7.1 bluray soundtrack that have a specific soundtrack made for back/front/side speakers.

Drivers just emulate 2.0 sound and make them sound like 7.1 :)

Shame that the software for the G930's is garbage. I own this set but don't recommend it until they fix the software. You can't customize the G keys if you install the original G930 software and then change to the Logitech Gaming software. The settings will stay as they were with the original software. Then there a USB detection issue when you try going back the original software. My advice is to NOT download their new software and just stick to what came with the set. Logiturd.
