I think it was because men and women fights are different. The men fighting sequence looked aggressive and violent yet entertaining. The women fighting looked graceful and delicate, it was like dancing. I don't think it's wrong or gender based, it's actually deep rooted culture on both sides.

In a fight to the death I don't think a guy's victory would be so guaranteed. This is not because guys aren't stronger than women, it's just that a lot of stuff comes down to luck. A woman might be able to get a guy by the throat or get a handle on a sharp object or the like. It's not a fair fight, but fair fights only exist between ropes. Where it really counts, men are not so much different from women.

I am no female and I am no blind feminist. Men and women are both good at what they do best. Fighting and hunting is what male body is built for. Not women. But females make better fighter pilots, better communication and lingual specialists, all due to their unique brain wiring, superior multiple attention and communication handling abilities. A female is a complementary opposite of male. I was once like you. But you'll never be complete unless you discover what your other half is all about.

Sure you can say that now, but look at the past of humans, you will see that men were what kept the family alive (for food that is). In case you haven't noticed the male is built for physical work, which explains why were so physical where are the female body is developed to give a healthy birth. So the female needs to be more sensitive, they need to be able to support the baby. (im not saying thats all that they are meant for). There are those that defeat this stereotype!

Not always so. It depends on the culture. If it's a hunter-gatherer society they might split the work, with women farming (which is a laborious chore) and men hunting (which was dangerous against bigger animals). Societies that have female goddesses are generally harvest goddesses because WOMEN were the ones who farmed, WOMEN were the ones who provided the food.

So it all depends on the society, really.

How do you know what THIS is? Clearly it's a technique that's more about the way it looks than creating any illusion of a real fight. Not my thing, but pretty to look at. I'm a dancer and a stage combatant, so I know there's definitely a difference. This is clearly more about form and art than about realism. There's a place for that.
