Your an idiot. Cummins does more than any other truck engine with 2 less cylinders and will last more than twice as long, just because you can't afford one doesn't mean you have to thrash them. By the way, for everyone who knows nothing about pulling. Modified trucks like these use hydraulics to control the wheels on the track, using a steering wheel while pulling with these in 4wd would be near impossible. He had a hydraulic issue.

These pro-mod pulling trucks have lots of power!

Its been mentioned in diesel power mag as well as other sources that this makes 1900+ horses. In recent readings they say its closer to 2000 now. It has a billet steel block.

There is a mechanically injected duramax being built supposed to be turning ~2300+ horses, and double overtime is now making 2000 hp thanx to his new triple turbo system.

You can call it bogus, or you can do some reading. But you have my word.

They dont have tons more torque than horsepower because they spin high rpms...

And they use pro fab reversers (direct drive) and mainly rockcwell axles geared super low

It is a cummins based motor. Most parts are aftermarket built but are based off the cummins engine design, just a little bigger, alot better and way more expensive. In order to pull in the modified class the motor must have came stock in a 1 ton or 3/4 ton chassis to fit into the rules of the class.They do not run transmissions they run reversers which only have 1 forward and 1 reverse gear. They use a drop box for gearing and they use a 4 disc clutch setup.

does any one know what he has in it for a transmission i seen him pull at tomah wisconsin and it shifted at like the two hundred foot mark, i wish it was a cat to.
