Nice job, but there are several places that you could have saved on time, such as the barrel between the 2 Neckies where you picked up DK (right after the continue barrel) and picking up the barrel at 0:37 and the 2nd barrel in the next part with 3 barrels and a bee. ;)
As far as loosing Diddy at the end. The only way to not lose a guy there is to wait until the barrel has turned right 4 times. Which is annoying and takes a bunch of yr time, so maybe loosing a guy does help you gain time there. ;)
