  • Very impressive, in addition to the train I like the light effects with the rapidly moving clouds.

  • So why couldn't Tangmere scale this last year?

  • Because Tangmere is class 7 power rated, 6024 is class 8, has 10,000 lbs more tractive effort than Tang, and more weight on the driving wheels

  • that and that the driver of Tang was not use to the controls

  • Great line is the Paignton & Dartmouth. I have been on holiday to the camp 'Waterside' next to the railway in your video four times (2003,4,5 & 6). In 2003 I saw 7802 'Bradley Manor' with the special, 60009 'Union of South Africa' in 2004 and in 2005 and 2006 I saw 6024 'King Edward I'!

  • A great shot. The caravans, a big feature of this part of the world give the scene the "holiday line" atmosphere I remember as a child.

  • I can remember this in it's BR days. Goodrington is a wonderful holiday place for children. Notice how long that train is.
