I have an ipod touch 2 gen and a griffen transmitter and every time i try to play it on my car radio my ipod speaker comes on instead it playing on my car radio can someone help me out?

Hey Please please help me, i have the very same unit, but after time, the wires came loose over time, ( i recomend having a good window attach, mine was crappy and fell all the time, so the cord was being pulled all the time and because of that the wires inside got lose )

So im asking if you could open your unit, ( you dont need to brake it, you just, open the dark / clear plastic, and then you will see the board with all the wires )

please open it, and tell me the order of the wires.

Griffin locks the video out it will play the sound but the video is locked out you can't play a YouTube while plugged in you can here the sound but you can't see the video or if you have a movie on your iPhone for your kids to watch while I'm driving down the road it won't play video this is a big deal to me that's why I use a belkin tunecast

I find it so funny how some people dont take off the plastic coatings from their gadgets, in fear as to not scratch them. Better to have a scratched up plastic film that starts to peel away on its own i guess.

This thing was quite a surprise. It even relays the song and artist information over the air. My radio and heads up display in my A4 were all scrolling "iTrip-(Artist name)(Song name)" They don't even advertise this... I would have picked one up sooner.

This particular one is not officially for Iphone. I just bought one and found out. Once plugging it into your iphone, your iphone will tell you that the product is not for iphone and it will want to go into "flightmode" however, you dont have to do that (there is the option). I've only tried it once for like 5 minutes but seemed to be working fine with my Iphone 3Gs.
