they should never of released this song cobwebs and Rebeca you were amazing single potential i don't think it was they're choice as they have said on the new record butterfly house they get to choose the single's.
this song is sooooooooooooo good. in a world of very few good songsmiths and lyricists, i feel fortunate to live in this time to get to hear and see the coral live. this song makes me feel almost melocholy. nostalgic. beautiful. not lonley but alone
dont read this PLZ Im sorry I didnt start this but Im too afraid to not do this
now that you've startedto read this dont stop or u will be killed. my name is subhan and i have no mouth and no legs and no ears if u dont forward this onto at least 10 videos i will come inot ur room and kill u in ur sleep
i hope this doesn't get deemed as spamming but i just wanted to post here to say please check out my first solo cover video influenced by this beautful rendition =) i promise you won't be disapointed!
the make the best pop songs this side of the new millenium. sad now bill has gone but they'll still be amazing went to old trafford at that arctic monkeys gig and i thought the coral were much better to be honest, blew my head off!
The Coral are one of these bands that instead of illegally downloading them you go out to a music store to actually BUY their album. Just because some artists are worth supporting.
The thing with the Coral is they're very experimental, they don't make music primarily to appeal to the masses, they play music they like and try different things from time to time. Ranging from very psychedelic stuff to tunes suitable for the pop charts. I love everything they've done and wouldn't change them for the world.
You DO forget how good these guys are dont you? Since I got Roots and Echoes, i haven't been able to stop playing it and all my other Coral albums. This is my favourite song on the album, it is really beautiful. Shows off Bills good guitar playing too...
If there is any justice this woud be at number 1. Love the fact that the extra guitarist is surplus to requirement and does nothing but tap in the background. Great performance.
i think the new album is brilliant, really mature and consistent in mood. i can see why fans of their quirkier side might feel abit let down but to me they just seem much more in control of the mood of their music and the songwriting in general
Just bought the new album the other day and overall its very dissapointing, theres only about 4 or 5 great songs on it.The rest are all very dreary. This is the best song on it though
saw them in preston and then about two weeks later with the arctic monkeys at lccc, awesome in preston cos i was right next to the speaker this one really stood out, it should be another dreaming of you for the pub crowd if they have any sense. the coral were better than the arctics at lccc, arctics are very half arsed, i said it on the commments at that gig, they were not happy but what do they know about music, they prob only buy 1 cd a year, that goes for about 90% of the audience.
smooth and beautiful x

I wouldn't call this experimental. Sounds more like pretty straight and melodic pop to me. But brilliant never the less!
