  • Talk about pearls before swine......LOL ! Those dummies don't even know what they're listening to.

  • Nick Baby Love Classic Pick !!!

  • This takes me back luv the song and we all will get older people ! Voices still have it give me soul every time. And let's face it its lasted the test of time not like buble gum pop of today an 1 hit wonders ! Show them some respect keep sing fellas

  • They still sound Great!

  • guilty! 20 years in the slammer.

  • we need more star transitions in this

  • Great song... This perfmormance is from the Dutch tv show 'Business Class'

  • need vitamin supplements

  • This was taken from a business programm from the dutch television. Very boring business people in the audience..

  • Woooooot!!!

  • The old guys still have it ,what the young guy would love to have.

  • Mannn, what a bunch of sourpusses is right... they must be part of the rhythm less nation.. HOW COULD YOU NOT FEEL THAT BEAUTIFUL SONG...

  • IS THAT THE JURY BEHIND THEM?

  • After all guys, it is a CHURCH

  • No wonder they say white folks have No souls...look at the boring people sitting in the background looking left and right as if wondering whether they should clap or scream "white power".

  • @MrManhattan007 Man, I'm white, and I can assure I'd be dancing my ass off , if i was there :-D This is probably the worst crowd ever.

  • Another sparkling gem. This old stuff is so interesting to listen to.Fab

  • There is nothing like Philly music. As a radio DJ who got the chance to work at an Oldies station 20 years ago in the Delaware valley area I loved playing those records like that and their earlier records as the Volcanoes and others as well like the Intuders and the "Super Sonic" Delfonics. I love all that Gamble, Huff & Bell stuff. Good for my soul.

  • What a bunch of sourpusses in the background.

  • Sourpusses is right. Too much starch in their shorts maybe.

  • @MrAlexKeaton

Agreed. Silly suits. I love this video. The boys have aged, yes, but with dignity. Magic.

  • @MrAlexKeaton they just dont understand whats really going on infront of them

  • Leuke video, afgezien van het publiek. Jimmy Ellis zingt nog steeds prima. Hoop dat ze spoedig weer in Nederland optreden.

  • God Bless the voice of Jimmy Ellis and the Trammps. Amazing...

  • Fantastic voices then and still fantastic voices now! Incredible! But what the hell is wrong with those people who call themselves an "audience" ....what an awful way to have to perform for such dead Robots! Had to laugh though when one of the Trammps said...You can join in with us IF you wanna!!! Seems indeed the only human being was the man with the Red-Tie....LOL

  • kijk dat was nog eens gezellige muziek kon er leuk op dansen was 16 jaar in 1975-1976 was het toppie Martinique

  • I so agree with you. It's a wonder the glares in their backs didn't paralyze them. But in

spite of the disdainful expressions from those in the back they performed and sounded fantastic.

  • white people hahahaha

  • "You can join in with us if you wanna haha" LMAO

    Amazing song!

  • Love this song! Love this group!

  • Love this song! Love this group!

  • There is a guy at the back table in a red tie that bops his head. The only one to "respond" to the music. LOL

  • I agree with you, could be a bunch of "bankers"?

  • Great song - but very strange venue and video. Where is this a church in England? Man could those folks sitting behind the band more more disconnected from the music or what. The whole feel of this video is odd - a great song being sung to recorded music by half the original band in one of the weirdest venues I can recall. Check out some of the earlier version of this song on YouTube to really enjoy it.

  • This was recorded in Holland on a tv show

  • Love watching these guys. Why can't time stand still? Why do we have to age?

My definition of Heaven: a never-ending Philly concert.

  • this vid is gold

  • no way I would sit still in my chair and pull a face like that guy,s in the background!!! put the Trammps with their own public that know what,s good music and classic performance !!! Go guy,s love you

  • This is disco at it's very best.

  • I'm sure the audience danced to this at sometime, if they can remember, seems they just don't know good entertainment.

  • The Guy at 2.45-2.50 in the back on the left seems like the only guy that was feeling it! More power to him.The rest seem as though they were at a Funeral or something!

  • Which one is Earl Young of MFSB Fame ?

  • "Jimmy Ellis "singing on this song , He was the VOICE of the Trammps GREAT

  • What a wonderful classic track. shame about the dummies in the background!!

  • Who booked this venue? What a bunch of stiffs!Amazing song and vocal group. Looks like a church venue that may have been expecting tramps and not the Trammps. Anyway, they got a Gideons bible and a hot meal for their trouble.

  • Classic song. Shame that the audience make them look like they have gatecrashed a funeral!

  • I probably would be the only fella between these zombies-audience and do the Jackson 5 steps untill the security see me out!

  • KMC, I am friends with these GREAT guys who came to sing for these low lifes. I am white & would personally like to apologize to you & The Trammps for their behavior. They are a disgrace to my race & are pathetic. If I was Jimmy, I would never subject myself to an audience like that again. When I see the Trammps, I leave WEAK from dancing, singing & enjoying myself! Karma, they'll get theirs, don't worry. LUV U JIMMY, STANLEY, DOC, DAVE & ALL. AND RUSTY(YOU'RE MY HEART)XOXOXOXO ENERGIZE

  • they r sooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!!!!!!

  • Well, I am not positive but it rather looks like that they are totally unresponsive to this kind of mucic.

  • I'm white and I confirm your comment kmc!

  • where in the world did this video take place? It actually looks like a church, but I know even the people in my church would have reacted better than this! They look like they are scared to smile! TB

  • The one in the middle looks homeless. Poor choice of attire I think!

  • The one in the middle is my dad!

And they all where just very boring doing this show with this "exiting" crowd!

Iff you don't know the people or whats going on in there mind, than shut up PLEASE!!!

  • Well he's not my Dad and I don't know him, but I think I can still comment. And it wasn't very exciting, no, but the suits are terrible. And I still think it made him look like a hobo

  • have a good night!

  • too bad the crowd is full of squares!

  • such a great perfomance!! Still wonderful singers.... LOVE it!!

And the audience should be kicked out of the studio!!

  • This song has the motown sound eventhough they weren't part of motown and it was 1975. This Trammps song always takes me back in time. Timeless classic.

  • Great perfoormance but that was the stiffest crowd ive ever seen

  • Old school forever this was the best in the day , you can keep that rap shit and burn it ,this had meaning and brought people together and we danced to a different tune.

  • i love these guys, but those suits look like one size fits all.

  • GRANDES DEL SOUL

  • Great song! Great vid! But why the hell did their agent book them in a wax museum?

  • Bankers, or an undertaker convention

  • there manager is a as. he onley thinks about his money. I know because i know him and the trammps in person

  • Awesome chart. I'm liking those oversized suits.

  • Trammps are the best. To bad there is no music like this anymore made...

  • i'am an italian ex dj and i started working 1975 just with Trammps' 33' and 45'.This song and Love epidemic were my favourites and the first i mixed in a public disco . This sound (phyladelphia)has affected my musical taste forever and looking on music played on today discos...i feel very sad ..UNFORGETTABLE ! God bless Trammps,Jimmy Ellis and his voice !;)

  • Yes, this Song Has JIMMY ELLIS THE LEAD SINGER OF THE TRAMPS

  • LOL @ audience of 'business people' in their suits behind them. Are they actually dead? They don't seem to be moving very much.

  • Awesome sound, very powerful energy, love it

  • This whole Philly thing was just a MoTown copy. It is a HDH rip-off. Nothing creative here.

  • pure class

  • what a voice amazing

  • This was their best song and my favorite from them , nice use of the track but were they in Britain?

  • Looks like Germany to me.

  • Nope, RTL7 is Dutch.
