The difference between them is just the riders. Me on the gixer would go no faster than me on the blade!!! (I'd go a bit quicker on the R1 cos I had an old 2000 model for a while so I'm used to it).

But I've now got an 06 R1, one of my mate's got a blade and another has got a gixer!!! And the outcome would be much the same as this vid cos my mate on his Blade is more experienced so would get a better start.

All awesome bikes and I'd be happy to own any, I just prefer the stylings of R1's
