I benefited greatly from the Affordable Care Act. I now don't have to worry about being dropped from my health insurance for my pre-existing condition. I am allowed to stay on my parents health insurance until I am 26 so I can go to college, and take a semester off to do internships. I stomach cancer in my family history so I can get preventative treatment covered. Not a perfect bill but still a good bill.

This is the USA we were a country to look up to but not anymore. I want all people to be helped, I have never seen a person turned away that needed medical attention.

Constitutional - interstate commerce clause long been interpreted to authorize fed law such as this. How to pay? More people in, u pool and spread insurance risk to help control premium cost. People who can afford but had no access and those who chose not to will now buy in. Employers contribute. Yes, there will be subsidies for those who can't afford, but that's decency. Payment reforms mean payment for quality not just bad quantity. btw i read the entire bill. Not perfect, but good
