Its an mirror alternate universe in which the Autobots are evil and the Decepticons are good.Also characters have inverted personalities, Golbug is paranoid,Soundwave has a personality, Starscream is loyal to Megatron, and Rodimus has the requisite evil goatee.

One of the best TF toys i've seen made in ages, only let down is the exhaust pipes that ran down his arms and doubled as blasters aren't as detailed in the robot mode, i also like how he retains his hotrod vehicle mode but resembles Rodimus when he transforms.

I always thought Rodimus had a very cool design. I think the best thing I like about his design besides his arm pipes and the boomerang like fin on his back, is the flame design on his chest. That alone symbolizes his fiery adolecent personality as well as the fact that he's a race car.
