I don't know why everyone says he's going for a million dollars. The BFL All American pays out $100,000 not a million. The Forrest Wood Cup is a million. And if this is a qualifier, than it does not pay much. I fished the great lakes division last year and the payouts were not great.

boats are designed to travel over water not land, mud, fallen trees or whatever else you can come up with. And if I were the person that owned that boat he was operating, he would soon find himself in the market for a new boat because he wouldnt be using one that I pay for. Great way to destroy a $50,000.00+ boat and motor, it's NOT a 4X4.

Like I said. He was fishing a qualifier for the BFL Finals which pay $1M. You can buy a ton of boats for that AND spend the rest of your life fishing pro. So while you may not want to chance it he did and your dissing him is nothing more than jealousy. HIS BOAT or not he would have done it. Guy wanted to win. That is the kind of guy who does win most of the time, and which gives a sponsor their monies worth. Had he made it, the engine manufacturer & the boat MFG. would have loved the publicity

Yes, but if he had made it there were a ton of fish up there. Catch em and he is a hero. It was a make or break deal. Could have won him a ton of money. I thought it was a gutsy move to tell you the truth. He would have been fishing alone up there with fish that had NO PRESSURE on them.
