Jazz, rock n roll etc - are all based upon classical music! but they have some meeaan beats which were introduced through the slave trade from Africa etc. Jazz was simply developed from the Christian hyms that the black people were given to help them convert to Christianity. Music nowadays was set up by Europeans, and developed by both white and black.
