Why? DragonForce popularized their sound by using "insane weedly weedly solo" and fun nintendo noises which appeals a shitload more to younger masses than anything else. That and their appearance on Guitar Hero, yet another medium to attract younger and more gullible people. DragonForce are FAAAAAAAARRR from being the pinnacle of Power Metal.

Dragonforce is good compared to the usual crap that people listen to but not one of my favorites. Dark Moor, Firewind, and Cellador are great as well
