  • WARNING, EATING INDIAN FOOD MAY CAUSE INDIGESTION, ACID HEART BURN, ULCERS,DUE TO THE EXESSIVE USE OF SPICES AND CHLLIS, EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @isaaccontractor

Spicy food does not cause ulcers. If this was true, Indians would not be eating it for every meal of every day.

  • @ardhanariswar yes it does the capsicum burns holes in the intestines

  • @isaaccontractor

No, that is a myth. There's no scientific evidence for that. In fact there's research done to suggest that it prevents inflammation and may stop ulcers from forming.

  • I do consider myself to be a "Man of International Taste Bud". I have tried and eaten almost every food from different countries. Life is too short to keep your mouth/tongue in one place. Anyway, I love Indian food because it is bursting with spices. Indian cuisine is the passage to spice.

  • Hi chef i have a doubt??

dont the chicken taste sour by using so mch of poppy seeds??

I cooked fish wid lots of poppy seeds n it was sour.

  • @82superashok with a lot of poppy seeds ur curry might taste bitter therefore u can use a mixture of poppy seeds and cashew nuts. An alternative for poppy seeds is melon seeds. I am a cookery student and has learned this from my chef. Hope this helps you.

  • MY FAV FOOD EVER IS INDIn food. Thank you

  • The chicken is contaminated by the Liquid petroleum gas.

  • @punder LPG turns into carbondioxide and water vapour when i t burns so how will it be contaminated if its cooked on flame?

  • i guess Indian food is the only food i have never tasted and i hear so much about curry chicken or is it chicken curry lol well anyway it looks very good, but like eating Mexican food which i eat a lot of, i would like to try it Authentic, the closest to being cooked in India and i hope its spicy i love spicy food even though some times my stomach doesn't lol i am going to try this recipe Thanks for posting

  • @Mickeym1a2n3 I'm the same way about Moroccan cuisine. I've been researching it, and watching videos about it, yet I have not tried it. In my imagination though Moroccan cuisine is the food of faeries. Dried fruits, exotic spices, sweet honey, rose water are just some of the ingredients they use.

Have a wonderful journey with your Indian cooking!

  • @Mickeym1a2n3 alot of people in the USA is eat Mexican food... Historically it is amazing how Indian spices spread through the world. The thing is though that spicy food all have a chemical which (Capsicum or something)which becomes addictive... So after a few Indian meals as well as West African Red Stews one can become hooked. :)

  • Hey Sanjay, I think you should spell out CHICKEN in the title of this video instead of CHK as it may not show up in many search results for "chicken curry"....

  • yes and a good spicy curry can cure a cold !!! forget medicine just eat a good hot and spicy curry

  • Hi Sanjay...I am a vegetarian and I want to make a very easy non-vegetarian item. Can you please help me how to cut chicken. and also suggest easy item that I can prepare for my friends :)

  • @manaswinig If you want to cut chicken easily, just get chicken breasts (they have no bones) and use some kitchen scissors... easy.

For a simple dish, just look through vahchef's recipes and see what you like!

  • 8:2 - 8:37 lol he could not speack hahahahha

  • good bro...maa mummy gurthuku vachindhi...memu dheeni "vuru kodi kura" adhe englishlo country chicken curry antaru kada. when i was a child my mum used to cook this. When i'll go back to india, i am sure i'll try this with our "Vuru Kodi".

    Thx Dear.

  • Dinchik Dinchik!! super funny! Awesome recipe. Thanks for posting.

  • Great video shabash!

By the way, I've taken all the ingridients but am wondering whether the dish needs coconut paste? (Due to allergies to some of my guests).

  • @RaviRageMusic Dosa man says you can use without coconutings. But you no fuck tell Boss man or i shoot.

  • @gdub12345

this dosaman is brother of superman

    both rock

    :D

  • @kamalreddy88 Haha Dosaman's special power is the ability to throw Aloo Tikki with precision accuracy. Bossman just pours loads of oil or ghee over you!

  • I just had Indian food(a lot) for the first time and I got really sick. Is this normal? It was fantastic by the way

  • @huntman125 When I had indian food the first time it made me sick also. I think all the spices can be a bit shocking to the body if it isnt used to it. Im glad I got over that fast, indian food is my favorite

  • @simpfan666 How long were you sick for?

  • @huntman125 less than a day maybe? if youre sick for longer maybe you ate something spoiled rather than just spicy

  • مشاهدة زوجتك كل يوم شريط ووضع حد للاغتصاب وقتل المولود الأول الخاص بك وسوف

  • liar, if he is a hindu they are vegetarian and they dont eat chicken which is so obvious that he is a hindu!

  • Lolzzzzzzzzzz............. Who told u dat?

  • rofl my friend u really need to re-work your concept of hinuism.

I my self am not hindu but my close friend is and i know for a fact that being hindu does not make u a automatic vegertarian..

i don't know all the detail but he says it has something to do with ahimmsa (not sure if i spelt it right..lol)

  • @animeosi perhaps but thats what i know about hindu people with all respect to them of course, i have a hindu friend as well ,

once perhaps what ur saying is true but from what i know they are vegetarian

  • lol,i don't fully know the meaning of it also but the few times he told me it has something to do with charma or something.

which makes a large number of hindu to be vegetarian.

my friend is probably part of the small group thats not vegertarian i guess -_-

  • Hi Chef Sanjay! What does the Poppy Seeds do, or taste like? Thanks, great YouTube Channel (I am one of your Subscrubers) . . .

    Sonya 24 USA

  • I dont have a gas cook top... Mine is electric cook top... How to try this dish... I am very much will ing to try this... Can anyone tell the alternative metod for the first step of rosting the chicken ???

  • me neither, please help out chef:) whats the best alternative?

  • Try using a hand gas blow touch design for culinary purpose, or home job purpose.

    I hope this helps.

  • @Edhayam

Mabe if u have a grill u can try to hold it over the fire inside that, without the tray on of course ;)

  • :) poppy seeds chef added were white,if i add the black poppy seeds, would it taste the same,or should i stick to white poppy seeds itself? thanks. :)

  • cooking something directly on the gas flame is very bad because it becomes toxic and dangerous... it is not a pure fire it is gas flame.. other than that it looks good just dont cook on gas flame! Don't believe me? jusst google it!

  • @sirajrizvi Are you sure? I have a gas line that connects to a grill that I used all the time. I don't see why it's more dangerous. And isn't the gas oven also using gas?

  • Any evidence to that effect ,my friend? I thought gas is a cleaner burning fuel than coal or wood and hence less residue and carcinogens.

  • lol

  • You are awesome. Great narrative along with your demonstration.

  • He is the Best of the best. I like his talk .. its so personal and touchy. Master you are the best

  • Cant wait to try this one Chef! Thank you!

  • Jump up and down if the food tastes good, take no notice of the crew!

  • lol cool chef, this thing looks too complicated though

  • Please open an authentic indian restaurant in Italy (Turin)!

  • Yes! He's a very good teacher because he likes his job. Also, his ideas about cooking are very easy to understand.

  • wow...

    he put so much salt..

    0______0

  • cool chef..dinchik dinchik..u made me laugh..thank u sanjay!

  • Firstly you stupid idiot fonzi0was0cool, he washed the chicken before he put it on the flame, he's a chef he knows about hygene.

Secondly i don't think any children will be cooking chicken curry! so therefore isn't dangerous if you have sense.

Thirdly your very ignorant too top it off, the chef knows what he's doing.

  • fat is good for you, don't listen to the scientists, they can't even cure the common cold

  • @byen8 Yeah they don't even tell you that you can naturally fight it with simply Oregano and/or Rosemary. Which have antiviral properties.

  • @byen8 I agree. Fat is good if you eat the good fat. and even if you don't you can eat specific amounts every day.

May our Heavenly Father & Jesus bless you.

  • @byen8 chicken curry will cure the common cold...

One of the reasons i’m watching this video.

  • @byen8 Don't listen to scientists? Idiot.

  • @byen8 A virus doesn't have a cure. You are just mad cause you got 25 % on your MCATS. LOL!

  • @zeeshawn15 sneering dork

  • @byen8 what exactly is your expertise? Are you expecting us to reject medical evidence in favour of your opinion? yes certain types of fats are essential to the body, mono unsaturated and poly unsaturated as well as omega 3,5,6 fatty acids. Too much saturated fat however does cause hardening of the arterial walls with fat resulting in higher blood pressure which can causes heart disease, strokes (blood clots)

  • @byen8 oh and by the way, scientists do regularly cure common colds but the viruses keep mutating which means that new vaccines are introduced. Even a simple google search would have told you that.

  • @soulfunkcity Thank you for being the voice of reason. I had an aunt who told me to eat butter because it would lubricate my joints "rolls eyes"

  • @Anita644 Anita I am sure your aunt would not have told you that had she been better informed. Unless she was aware of the facts and chose to ignore them. The scientific method is the best tool at our disposal to acquire knowledge and advance our understanding of the universe and the laws which govern it. It annoys me when ill informed people downgrade it in favour of their opinion. dspite the cliche, ignorance is not bliss it is a debt that plagues many people.

  • @soulfunkcity Absolutely right! Let's stop all this global warming nonsense by applying scientific method, as well.

  • I have always eaten takeaway, but because of this guy, i am inspired to cook something

  • Gineralli paste? What the hell is gineralli paste?

  • its ginger and garlic paste mix not gineralli he he he

  • ginger - garlic paste. You can buy ground together in a jar

  • @LUL751X lmao

  • Thanks Chef... These are awesome recepies

  • i love this guy. good going, chef, may your kitchen always resonate with the sound of your dinchik.

  • he's a good teacher :)

  • Thank you!!

  • the chicken got a tan

  • you rock! dinchik dinchik...

  • Curry is my all time favorite dish and comfort food. There is something about curry that you are grow up with. It will always be the best in taste hehe.

Mr. Vahchef, thank you for sharing all these wonderful recipes.

they are truly inspiring to try them out.

  • I completely agree with you :) Perhaps, it's because Im Indian! ;) I make an excelletnt curry if I may say so myself :p

  • if everyone new their future then life would be so different, with this guy you get a life lesson as well as a cooking lesson.

  • Ehm... but the mixture of poppy seeds and coconut has to be added with water?

  • Evidently he added water to the mixture. Am learning for the first time there is such a thing as powdered coconut milk. Had togoogle it to believe it. D: Thanks Mr Vahchef for all the learning.

  • I am always confuse abt the how much water shoud be added

  • You're brilliant! I'm absolutely useless in the kitchen but, thanks to you, I shall now be able to eat something akin to home cooking.

I'd like to suggest a couple of things: dinchik, dinchik (an quaint onamatapaiec) but =motar & pestal in English :); please state how many servings one will get from the recipe and a little more precision with language i.e. call a laddle a laddle and not a spoon.

  • you are quality well done thanks

  • You have a great voice. And a great personality.

  • Please sir! your english rocks! if you just wanted to know! n thanks 4 d recipe!

    dinchik! dinchik! hun!

  • Delicious!! Thank you! Very yummy! We love you, Vahchef!! Your genuine style and presentation is totally appealing, no fake accents and gestures. You are truly authentic, as are your dishes!
