  • The difference will be inside the final result: the taste and the quality!

  • your husband is funny lol

  • I just found these biscuits at the store--I never saw them before! Now I think I can make this cake. Thank you for such nice videos!

  • I have a few questions here:-

1.Can we use a chocolate that is not 70% cacao

2.Did you use salted butter or unsalted butter?

  • Yes, you can use less rich chocolate, but the taste will be more poor in chocolate (then you can add more cacao powder).

I suggest you to use unsalted butter for this chocolate cake.

  • Thank you for the information

  • 1. Can I put the egg yolks and egg whites when the chocolate is at the double boiler?Because I don't want to eat aggs that are uncooked.

2.I don't want to use coffee. Can I use hot chocolate drink?

  • 1. for the egg yolks you can, just be sure to temper them so they don't scramble (Mix a bit of the batter into the egg yolks, then add to mixture, so the temperature is raised slightly) The heat already in the cake should cook it though. As for the egg whites I wouldn't add them while over the double boiler, as it might deflate the fluffiness. if you are really worried, try whipping them over a double boiler before you refrigerate them (low heat of course) otherwise follow the recipe

    2. yes

  • do you bake the cake or do you just leave it in the fridge?

  • in the fridge during 12 hours

    enjoy your cake!

  • hello mary and jose, I have two question to ask you the chocolate 70% cacao have to be sweet or not? and when we finish the cake we just put in the fridge right? we dont need to bake is that right?

  • The chocolate 70% cacao is not so sweet but to verify if it's good for you, please taste the preparation before to build the cake!

And you don't need to bake the cake!

    Best regards,

    Chef Mary
