Samsung Series 9 Demo and Ultrabook Thoughts

The video is like 7 monthes old. There are I7 models available now. Making the ultrabook quite nice for gaming. Ps. The prices have dropped insanely too.

the wifi problem has been solved with the replacement of the previous wifi card supplier with intel. I decided on the Series 9 out of all the ultra-portables and I love the overall experience of the system.

Chippy, forgot to mention you may wanna look into the LG P330. 13.3 inch thin (like macbook pro thin not macbook air) notebook with full i7 sandybridge, dedicated (switchable) NVIDIA 555M graphics, and IPS screen. Looks really promising!

@stevechippy I bought one of these but sent it back last week. The laptop is stunning, really fast and lightweight, however the wifi range is really bad.. I couldn't even get a connection from the room next door to the rooter in my house whereas a friend's 5 yr old laptop was fine. Apparently it's something to do with being single channel wifi (I think!).. if I were you I'd wait for an updated model.

@gadgetman007 the Samsung NP-900X3A-A01US models have the wifi problems but there is a driver to solve that issue. The Samsung NP-900X3A-B01US doesn't have the wifi issue (1.6 i5 2467M).
