I think it was Funny to place the add however just another Hateful Liberal talking crap....
Go Conservatives !!!!! Gallop poll 40% conservative - 36% Moderate in America. 21% liberal 5% of that is very liberal. I think it is safe to say America is conservative / moderate. And we know there are White liberals SO that must mean there are other races in America besides whites who are Conservative / Moderates RIGHT !! Bring the FACTS BABY !!!!
I am always amused at the stupidity and ignorance of people like you. Obviously you rant about the tea party, yet have no idea what you are talking about. It is exactly people like you that will march off the cliffs as lemmings, while you let your government bankrupt our country. No more checks for you!
@Jrsmithart what is it about? to much goverment? right? what about bush? i had never herd of the tea party when bush was here. all of a suddon its teaparty thinks obama is a muslum, or obama is a comunist etc. wanna know some history on the true tea party? it wasnt bc of tax increase that started the tea party, but rather a tax reducition in british tea and goods. it was started when angery tea shops didnt want comatition and throw the tea. bet your on some form of gov health care bill right?...
@TonPappa Take another hit of what ever you are smoking that is it relax and listen. The first tea party started in 2007 libertarian Ron Paul. Most of today's Tea Partiers can NOT stand Bush and most republicans politicians.Bush had done a lot of things along with Obama to damage America. It is not about political parties. So turn off the music put the bowl down and do some research. Take a deep breathe when you replay don't say anything dumb. Just Facts please. Have a nice day.
This little talk head can keep talking... And us tea partyers..will continue to come together... I bet he will still be talking once the tea party candidates take over Washington... and thats just fine.. let him talk away. no ones really listening
@AlbertInSanAntonio bet your on some form of gov health care bill right?... the tea party is nothing more than another word as a zazi. you only care about you self and if you talk about rights you cite the consitution but ignor the other facts in it. aand the tea party was started when angery tea shops didnt want comatition and throw the tea bc the king gave tax brakes to the rich. umm... what did bush do? tax brakes to the rich. u shouldve fought agents bush not obama moron.
@TonPappa The Tea party Is not about Tea but rather ,its about Taxation without representation without representing Americans that are more than willing to pay Taxis but not more than they shod and certainly not for greedy politicians that seek only to for-fill there own agenda rather than whats best for they American People. I certainly won't vote for a party that I have voted for in the past that has spent America into oblivion.both parties both are to blame. pride has got the best of you all
Many Tea Party leaders are black, yet you continue to put out this kind of BS. Obama Lies: Obamacare won't raise taxes and reduce health care costs! My Admin will be open with no secrecy or earmarks. My Admin will post bills on CSpan. My Admin will not have lobbyists in positions of power. I will unite America with bipartisanship. Instead he has encouraged idiots like you fomenting hatred toward a grass roots movement of citizens trying to save our republic and Freedom from socialism!!
@kochese43 obama tried to do bipartismanship dude. everychance he got he would try to let the republicans in on a bill.they would say that they want this admement in and than he did but than they would say another one and than alm obama for not doing it right away.i watched the cspan debates.republicans just fillabuster it and say \that obama didnt do anything. the health care bill was going to give children a chance to be looked at with a preexisting medical condition but bc of u guys they cant
You need a "free market" to be this kind of an entrepenuer, which you won't have soon if you win your little battle of lies. I didn't go to college on some one else's dime...I'm a non-white immigrant and my parents came to this country -- LEGALLY to give us the opportunities that the tea party movement is FIGHTING for. You won't win when you don't know how to EARN enough money to do things for yourself.
@askmieke The Tea Party has NO IDEA what it is fighting for. Sure, they use words like "freedom" and "democracy". But, so what? We have those things here. Take our country back! From what? a democratically elected congress, senate, and President? We need to take our country back from the global corporations who have turned it into a pit of consumption of the goods produced by other countries whose citizens are merely wage slaves. End corporate lobbying and campaign contributions TODAY!
This ignorant talking head distorts facts and displays the kind of desperation becoming more and more apparent as Election Day creeps ever closer. His actions are straight out of Alinsky's book - - if you cannot win an argument with facts or logic, change the subject and demean your opponent. The Democrats and their shills have become sad sack losers. Remember in November!
You must be looking at a different bunch of pictures. The people in the photos and videos are just as colorful as anywhere in America. When the health care bill came up, everyone was so happy to be getting free health care. What they weren't told was that it was going to be very costly and everyone was going to be paying for it. They also weren't told that the price tag was going to be devastatingly high and would cripple this country.
Yes how ironic that the tea party revellers are just now coming to light...the GOP has screwed us for the past 8 years and now they want "freedom"...because their income of 250K+ will be taxed more?
@kkklammy hey know nothing the dems controlled the house and senate the last 4 of that 8. barney said what financial problems when warned repeatedly. further more the dems were the party of slavery to begin with.... so how are they a savior again? fyi the dems are still the party of slavery.
I stand by the tea party people.. we need someone to stand up for our country - as you know Davis, our country has been taken over by common thugs and their only concern in life is to create more power because they are greedy sick fucks! and until we take our country back I'm afraid the life we hope for our young will be lost forever.
Obama is a fraud and he's backed out of two promises, 1. bring the troops home, 2. abolish the patriot act -- fucker is working for the $ cartel just like all the other dickheads, Clinton, Bush senior and junior, et al. :(
the health care bill, (more like hell care) yet another attempt to place further control over the American people..
let me be clear tho, Glen and his friends appear to be dolts.. I'll give you that! ;)
@oh2love4love where were you standing up for your country when we had a trillion dollar war? where were you when they lowered consumer protection? Taking back the country is another way of saying putting up with someone you should be outraged by but since they put on the common man disguise you won't be. Forget the Tea party cry babies who provide no solutions but block other people attempts at them.
Where were these Tea Party Patriots in 2000...or in 2004? I find it ironic they just show up now...how about when Republicans were robbing us blind? Why were they so quiet then? You cant pick and choose which criminals to expose...you must expose them all.
@729Drew Good videos..Wow..See, I forgot Americans have the right to own firearms! I can only imagine what could happen. In Japan, it seems people are too "scared" or dont have a spine to speak out politically to the Hierarchy of Japan. We are also done with the Emperor and his wrong doings..We as Japanese dont need to pay for two national leaders!
Your statements are mostly within range but any mention of " Our Lord Jesus " out of true context does insult me . Please refrain form using " Gods name in vein " Thanks you Davis
"Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the law. " We can't pay it back, so why not just take care of each other and forget the debts we owe?
Are you color blind..there was a black man with a big gun at the tea party and cnn did not want to admit it...david is a traitor..and should be dealt with as such..
funny, no really it is , funny you play a video expressing your own bigotry with out any clear understanding about us . but thank you for your video . it truly show how you are, and it shows every one .
Trust me David you should get out But hey I fought for you to have the right to be as simple minded as you want to be I hope your choice of government will do the same for ya. Personally I 'll stay with the Constitution and the bill of rights!
You obviously have to stay in so you can watch CNN so you can be brainwashed by their pro-obama agenda. I was at the tea party on 9/12 and it wasn't about race; as you said, "a fear of anything with a skin tone that isn't white enough to think that you may have come over on the Mayflower." As for the poster of this ad she obviously thinks like Obama; she wants to take something that doesn't even belong to her and profit from it. Oh, and Dylan said "the times they are a changing." Yes, they are.
Davis, you really need to get out of your cave a little more, you hermit. Maybe if you actually went to one of these tea parties you could tell the truth about them instead of making up the crap spewing out of your mouth!! I dare you to attend one and get the real story! Share the truth and I might be encouraged to "chip in"
David, you are awesome! If Jesus changes his mind at the last minute (and I would not blame him if he did), we may have to call one of those disposal services that cleans out homes stuffed with items beyond rehabilitation.
Quit spamming people to be your friend, you're a certified fag, and you're a collaborator. If you didn't notice, The left controls all parts of the government, universities, and media.
again... you lost all credibility when you call the death panels a lie... sure I didn't want to admit that Sarah Palin was right, but all her claims about the death panels got them removed from the legislation... yes... Old Boy removed the same death panels that he had said apparently didn't exist... you are nothing but a liar... try using some facts from time to time... like I've said before... Glenn Beck wannabe... the libbies don't have an answer for him... look at Old Boy's approval rating?!
Both political parties in the United States are an absolute embarrassment to thinking people everywhere.
Having said that, these Tea Party "Patriots" have distinguished themselves as the most gullible and most thinking-impaired people among a vast assortment of stupid ideas, half truths, and half wits.
None of them will probably ever understand that though, because they're just too dumb.
This is how they will squash our right to free speach. If you disagree with the socialist nutcases you are a "terrorist" and they try will try to make them seem a threat. The threat to all of us is this fascist administration we were duped into putting into power.
This guy in this video is so full of hate and lies.
I'm american indian, and i go to these tea parties. The black people I know, go to them cause they have some education, besides the mind numbing public schools you try to force them and everyone else to go to.
Who wanted to keep people slaves? Oh that's right, it was the Democratic party and the VATICAN who was supporting them.
ANd true, your racist, protestant hating Vatican now controls most of the Republican party too.
The Paulists' Neo-Lockean definition of "self-ownership" is an indirect justification of slavery by implying that human beings may be rightly owned. This is the classic British Liberal position--free the slaves by giving them ownership of themselves. Thus were they converted into "Labor" that could then sell themselves to the Capitalists.
The British "Liberals" were for freeing the slaves in British territory because they saw that it was cheaper labor.
"Alas! Owing to a number of special historical causes, the British workers of the last third of the nineteenth century proved dependent upon the Liberals, impregnated with the spirit of liberal-labour policy. They proved to be, not at the head of nations and classes fighting for liberty, but in the wake of the contemptible lackeys of the money-bags, the British Liberals."
"And the Liberals have for half a century been dragging out Irelands liberation, which has not been completed to this day!...the Liberals have imposed upon [the tenant farmer] a system of land purchase at a 'fair' price! He has paid, and will continue to pay for many years, millions upon millions to the British landlords as a reward for their having robbed him for centuries and reduced him to a state of chronic starvation."
By the way, the Teabaggers are McCain-voting sore losers. It might make you feel cool to pick on a small minority of anti-corporatists, but if you support DK, you're just being a hypocritical douchebag.
It's a sad day when supporters of Kucinich are dedicated to alienating supporters of Paul. We have more in common than we do with Obama/McCain people, and DK and RP understand that. They both said repeatedly they would be happy to have the other as a running mate. Stop shitting all over Ron Paul
if you really gave a damn about Ron Paul you wouldn't call the tea party goers teabaggers considering the tea party movement was started by the Ron Paul revolution.
I donated to Ron Paul, but the teabaggers and the health care protesters are just dogmatists. They're not pushing for freedom, they're pushing for the maintenance of the status quo -- i.e. the complete control by corporations of all the important things in America. Nanny government is tyrannical, but so is unfettered corporatism, like we have now. Ron Paul supporters shouldn't be reactionary against Obama, they should support change instead of being sticks-in-the-mud for corporations.
well, being a libertarian, and a Ron Paul supporter, and seeing the lies Obama spews...I speak on behalf of any educated libertarian. We know we need health care reform. We also want health care reform, and something must be done about it. However, Obamas plan is worse than what we have. Besides all the moral disputes with the bill, just look at the cost. how would we pay for it? o yeah, increased taxes...again. then wait for the cap and trade bill. we dont want socialism. don't tred on me.
The huge blind spot in your and other libertarian thinking on this issue is this: we already have socialized medicine. If you have an emergency and you can't pay for treatment -- THE GOVERNMENT PAYS FOR YOU. This is, everybody agrees, the worst/most expensive possible way to do healthcare.
Here are some more do-nothing shattering facts: in government insurance, no money has to be spent on ads/marketing (that's billions), administrative costs/salaries are lower, and there are no profit margins.
I agree. I prefer to describe Ron Paul as an ignorant, hateful, mindless piece of human excrement. That more thoroughly and succinctly describes what he is.
If you don't like the Constitution -- or, like the snooty Craigslist poster & Davis Fleetwood, you don't even like the IDEA of a constitution -- you can move to a country like Britain or China, where they have no written constitution, or bill of rights, or free speech, etc. etc. etc.
Way to continue making yourself irrelevant, Mr. Trainor.
He can tell anyone what he wants in a free society - you either agree or disagree. I still can't understand why the USA doesn't want this healthcare bill. One day it might benefit you when you are ill and dying and have NOTHING - think about that.
@bilstonjay In retrospect, if you're a working citizen today, Sept. 12 2010, you are paying a lot more for healthcare, thanks to this wonderful healthcare bill you touted for being so great in 2009. Everyone who wanted this thought it was going to be like the one they have in Canada, where healthcare is free, but even free things have a cost. You either have to pay more or you have to give your time waiting in line to see a doctor. Now we're paying for healthcare for illegal immigrants.
I'm tired of hearing "we all don't follow beck" if u don't want fleas don't lay down with dogs. The "followers" of beck infest every conservative event there is, so if u don't wanna get lumped in with them u should speak out like mrs Buchanan did, n u won't b
This guy hates the constitution, and said there's no need for a second amendment in modern America, so who the hell is he to tell Americans whats best for them.
most of the town hall people just want their country back, if you want obamacare so bad then you get out there and yell, fact of the matter is anti-care folks are more passionate at this point, and most of us don't look up to, listen, or follow glenn beck
nobody is saying the don't want heathcare. who doesn't want healthcare? everybody in america gets healthcare.
the debate is over GOVT SUBSIDIZED HEALTH INSURANCE and considering our govt is TRILLIONS of $ is debt without so much of a fucking penny to call it's own, opposing this is a pretty sensible thing, really?
many people do and even prefer thinking before the speak, just a suggestion, but perhaps you wanna give that try, moron.
Not really, considering the amount of cash you hand over in tax you must be insane not to want some of it back in the form of health care, especially when they're handing out trillions on end to executives.
the fed govt has no authority to be collect taxes for social engineerig. they have no authority to do most of what they do and it needs to stop. or this entire society will sink right into poverty. economies do collapse, ask the russians.
ironically the one thing obama iIS constitutionally mandated to do,---defend this country--he doesn't want to to.
WILL sink into poverty?!? You've got future tense mixed up with past tense - the US has already sank into third-world status. Has Canada sunk into poverty? Germany? France? Don't think so my friend...
I mean if you want to sit there dying of preventable diseases it's your business, but I don't think your countryfolk are going to thank you for your subservient slave mentality in the coming years. There's a terrible depression on, people can't afford to splash out on private healthcare.
their is a mid ground between no reform and top down soviet style take over, which is what the end result would be. that is their intention and numerous top dems have said it for the last 50 years.
canada, germany and france? are irrelevent. the u.s has 320 million people and conservatively willl be paying 8oo billion in 2019 for INTEREST.
there is about 8-12 million uninsured,i am 1
the us govt is the most incompetent, fraudeulent, wasteful entity on the planet
i know it.s been 44 million, 47 million, michael moore rounded up to 50 million --
kaiser institute breaks the numbers down and this can all be found easily online -- total number of chronically uninsured--meaning, 20 million or so of this number are merely uninsured for 4 months or less, again
TOTAL NUMBER OF UNINSURED AMERICAN's
according to the liberal non-profit kaiser foundation
The point is, you're one. You'd personally benefit from healthcare reform. Do you expect to never get ill, or do you think you'll be pulling down Rockerfeller-style wages in the foreseeable future?
Oh, and here's another stat for you: 22,000 Americans will die this year because they couldn't get health care. More than ten 9/11s. Imagine if the government refused to fight terrorism because it "wasn't their jobs to pick the winners and losers"? Why is it acceptable to let people die of poverty?
Not really, it's just that you are a happy slave, pleased to pay massive taxes and get nothing in return. Everyone else in the developed world gets some form of decent health care provided in part by the government. Everyone except you, and you are happy to collaberate in your own enslavement by corporate fat cats and that of your fellows too.
There's a world for people like you where I come from, and it's not a very nice one. Have a nice day kissing the bosses ass, sucker!
i'm essentially broke, but i value my INDEPENDENCE more then superflous cash or safety nets....which would have come in handy a few times.
but that's just me, if you need the govt to care for you it's none of my business
for what it;s worth i do wish you luck and if you're in iran i hope it's safe. i'm afraid things could get pretty ugly with israel by the end of the year...
@theMETALDOVE what most people in this country don't realize is that the national debt is being paid to the federal reserve, who loan the government money WITH interest that isn't paid into the system, so guess who it's really being paid by? The federal reserve creates the debt when they create the money, but the government NOR the citizens can pay the interest they're charging. Money IS DEBT created out of thin air!
if the fed would perform their specific enumerated functions then the american people and the market would sort the whole matter out--such as it is a matter.
but the federal govt was not designed to be a nanny to 300,000,000 people and it shoulldn't try. they should focus on the mail and the war which is about to get real ugly if we falter.
oh yeah, the iae says iran is ready to go with the nukes and the one thing that has been cut--defense---more soecifivally the nissle sheild
It's not about being a nanny - it's about you, personally, having paid your dues into the system and getting sod all back. Did you notice there were no Tea Parties over the banks getting trillions of dollars of free money, but when there's sick and old people to look after, suddenly they're all "oh noes we can't pay for the plebs - taxpayer's money is for the rich after all!"
I mean, doesn't it sicken you that the federal government is a nanny to Wall Street fatcats?
absolutely. there should be no bailouts for wall street, main street any street. it's not the fed job to pick and choose winners and losers and to micro manage the economy.
"well only when we get in trouble, right?"
no, even less so. it establishes precident and expectations of the fed govt as the saviour
they only have what they disposess from us and the treasury
all the bailout nonsense started with pelosi/bush $500 stim. checks
your own premise has come to this...from people dying on the strteets and you thanking your lucky stars that you aren't here...to 22,000 die without health ins. how many million do you suppose die WITH health insurance?
even if the number did stick, are you suggesting a complete overhaul of 20% of the economy for it?
well we have. the war on poverty has cost trillions and we spend 16 times more then we did when it started.
i have an uncle, but his name isn't tom and i definetly wouldnt kiss him. oooh. maybe his daughter. they're distant relatives. so really it's not, you know, it's cool. i thinke she's adopted actually from another country no chance we're related she's black. very black african, actually you know what,, she used to live next door to barrack's brother's hut small world, i know he had a very nice hut just a smaller version of barry's 2 mill 6 b/r 100 yr old house in chi town much smaller
What do you mean when you say, they just want there country back?
What has changed other then a smart, educated, person of color, trying to do the best thing this county could have done for itself. Something we needed long ago.
I think you just want the good old days, where the white male Christian runs the show. Well, I am glad to say that time has come and gone. P.S. Im white by the way:)
That's a good question. You guys were saying it 5 years ago when Bush was up for re-election. As far as I'm concerned "take our country back" simply means "hey America vote us back into power."
you exemplify the hypocrisy in this climate, JUST based on what you say here.
i resent and oppose President obama. from his frightening foeirgn policy to his massively expanding federal govt.
you, on the other hand, support a smart, educated person of color? something, you feel we needed long ago. white christians? you are white? colored person?
you are obsessed with race. look at your own words.
they aren't mean, but what is it with you and color?
Dr. Ron Paul supporters are against fascism & slavery. We are not all white. I realize I am on the side of misunderstood minority, that is people who support "free speech" "free press" the right of privacy, & believe "the right to bear arms shall not be infringed." Fascism = a system of government whereby the citizens/taxpayers surrender their "Rights" for the greater good of society in favor of corporatism & bureaucracy. Tax Exxon & Pfizer to pay for healthcare.
It is a fact most ron Paul supporters are white, but it is a shame really that most minorities(not all walter williams for one) have no concept of Constitutional Liberty or Classical Liberalism.
it's not just minorities it's most people. Keep in mind the progressive left controls most of the media outlets and the entertainment outlets in this country so kids are generally brainwashed by default to vote democrat. For example I know a woman who voted for Obama but has the same stance on border security as Tom Tancredo. Blacks and Hispanics are typically very socially conservative. It's just come election time conservative candidates don't reach out to the minority communities.
They might be socially conservative, but the majority of republican policies rely on sound bites to gain support, they don't actually work (trickle down economics, abstinence, tough on crime, tough on drugs, tough on immigration, always taking a hard line, energy "policy", anything that is socialistic can never be more efficient than the free market so privatise everything).
They may be sacrificing their best interests for some more social conservatism; dems are moderately conservative as well.
Great video, Davis. The "tea-baggers" are trapped in a cycle of internally festered rage & bile, fueled by Faux Snooze. Their unchecked actions unfortunately, are not going to bode well for the USA. They are certainly working hard on SELF-fulfilling their Doomsday dogma, though. But I have no doubt that what they get in return will not be what they wagered for.
Wow, blaming the tea parties. Actual people who never gave a damn about politics are actually being active and reading, learning and understanding the constitution and this is what davis fleetwood does. I guess he doesn't give a damn about the constitution either.
"people who never gave a damn about politics are actually being active and reading, learning and understanding the constitution..."
More accurately, they are NOT reading the constitution and rather MISunderstanding it. What they ARE reading is talking points fed to them via spam emails and foaming-at-the-mouth right-wing nutjob websites. If they had actually read the Constitution they would demand prosecution for what their right-wing conservatives have done to the country.
I believe they are, but I educated myself, so I might not be so, what is the phrase... A lamb brought to the slaughter? I guess that could work. As I always say, keep them flowing.
We ought to elect the Tea Party, the Minutemen and say to hell with all politicians!! Not a God damn one is worth voting for. As if once they get elected, they no longer give a good damn about their constituents. Where is the America our grandfathers died for? LONG LIVE THE U.S.S.A.!!!!!
Oh no!! Americans protesting!! How communistic, We should have a czar to control the American masses. Better to it before Tuesday though, wouldn't wanna miss Obama's indoctrination. Damn it all, America should buy out toilet paper to wipe the shit up from all this division.
Not that what you say here perfectly exemplifies this, but I think it is interesting that it is easier to talk about what is going wrong in this country with humor than it is to talk about it dryly and directly. For me, the obvious parallel is the old Soviet Union. I have several books dedicated to jokes from that place and period, and it was interesting that humor became the sort of last refuge for the truth. Guess that's us now.
went to a town hall last night. it was a waste of time. i regret having to say that.
all, ALL, of the questions were preselected and 98% of them were scripted anti-reform talking points. the questioners were allowed to editorialize and the answers have all been heard before.
frankly, i was disgusted, and i LIKE my rep and voted for him.
these teagaggers have succeeded. our town hall meeting on health care was pointless.
Libertarian ideals under a Republican banner, fine. What I don't like is his religious views and his willingness to shove them down my throat. I wouldn't care if he was Buddhist, Muslim, Judaism, etc.. Keep your story book emotional crutch out of politics, peoples lives, the state, no state....I agree audit the Fed Res. But after that I part company with RP and his supporters.
I think Ron Paul associations unlike Obamas would be the downfall of his 2012 chances. It gets harder and harder to differentiate btw RP supporter and Alex Jones (town) idiots. Then again RP doesnt help himself by continuing to appear on his show.
I still support RP, but if i had know he was friends with the loon AJ, i wouldnt have even given him a chance.
RP fans should start a petition to ask RP to lay off AJs show until the 2012 campaign is over.
Uche- keep in mind RP appeared on AJ when no other venue would have him on... unless they were asking him demeaning questions and pandering the public with seemingly radical sound bytes. There's another big youtuber who would put down RP because he said he had a loony following... the guy agreed that RP was the best candidate with most of his issues but refused to support him because of some of his supporters. The media will exploit the AJ appearances but alas, the media itself is the problem.
If I may interject here for a moment. Ron Paul needs better PR. AJ was not the best place to go to spread his message regardless if it was the only venue that would book him on. It seems those who agree with his policies have done well in getting his name out there. The same for us Kucinich supporters like me. The media is not the problem, it's the people. This should show you how educated we really are as a nation.
Ron Paul had his chance on Fox news and on Fox business network. Glenn Beck did everything he could to get Ron Paul's message out there. But what killed Ron Paul's message the most were his messengers (aka his supporters) Even tho he's a right wing libertarian (like myself) he should've taken better advantage of fox news and AM Talk radio, tell his supporters stop pissing off the party base and learn how to play the game and lie a little. (even if he has to.)
I agree. But it would be great if people didn't have to hide behind lies to pacify the "old guard" so to speak. If he runs again I suggest he stay off of Glenn Becks show lol. Sorry if you like him but man....we need more sanity these days. Just my opinion and nothing more.
Yes some Ron Paul supporter are crazy especially the ones who subscribe to Alex Jones conspiracies, but that should discredit the message of Ron Paul.
I dont believe in death panels, Bilderberg groups, 911 inside job and yet I am a Ron Paul supporter. When u have a message as good as RP, you will attract alot of people even the crazies
I don't think anyone denies we need health care changes. But why are you all so quick to jump on the first 'plan' that comes along? Desperate times call for desperate measures?
Maybe if the government showed just a little bit of competency with their current programs people wouldn't be so hesitant.
btw, gotta love the republican ad on the screen at the end. lol

Most of today's Tea Partiers can NOT stand Bush and most republicans politicians.Bush had done a lot of things along with Obama to damage America. It is not about political parties. I didn't go to college on some one else's dime...I'm a non-white immigrant and my parents came to this country -- LEGALLY to give us the opportunities that the tea party movement is FIGHTING for.

I say the government pass a law so that the richest people pay a percentage of their assets to help out in the current economic crisis.

That's Paul's scheme in a nutshell.

Stop shitting all over Ron Paul
jkqd14 2 years ago
if you really gave a damn about Ron Paul you wouldn't call the tea party goers teabaggers considering the tea party movement was started by the Ron Paul revolution.
sakonhagakure 2 years ago
I donated to Ron Paul, but the teabaggers and the health care protesters are just dogmatists. They're not pushing for freedom, they're pushing for the maintenance of the status quo -- i.e. the complete control by corporations of all the important things in America. Nanny government is tyrannical, but so is unfettered corporatism, like we have now. Ron Paul supporters shouldn't be reactionary against Obama, they should support change instead of being sticks-in-the-mud for corporations.
jkqd14 2 years ago
DAMN. YOU NAILED IT.
BlameRepublicans 2 years ago
well, being a libertarian, and a Ron Paul supporter, and seeing the lies Obama spews...I speak on behalf of any educated libertarian. We know we need health care reform. We also want health care reform, and something must be done about it. However, Obamas plan is worse than what we have. Besides all the moral disputes with the bill, just look at the cost. how would we pay for it? o yeah, increased taxes...again. then wait for the cap and trade bill. we dont want socialism. don't tred on me.
mattike53218 2 years ago
The huge blind spot in your and other libertarian thinking on this issue is this: we already have socialized medicine. If you have an emergency and you can't pay for treatment -- THE GOVERNMENT PAYS FOR YOU. This is, everybody agrees, the worst/most expensive possible way to do healthcare.
Here are some more do-nothing shattering facts: in government insurance, no money has to be spent on ads/marketing (that's billions), administrative costs/salaries are lower, and there are no profit margins.
jkqd14 2 years ago 2

@bilstonjay In retrospect, if you're a working citizen today, Sept. 12 2010, you are paying a lot more for healthcare, thanks to this wonderful healthcare bill you touted for being so great in 2009. Everyone who wanted this thought it was going to be like the one they have in Canada, where healthcare is free, but even free things have a cost. You either have to pay more or you have to give your time waiting in line to see a doctor. Now we're paying for healthcare for illegal immigrants.

Why is it acceptable to let people die of poverty?
badnewswade 2 years ago
i am not the point of a national healthcare debate. the point is that this debate is largely predicated upon a lie. a pretty big lie, at that.
i imagine i will be ill, i pay $200-300 now for my care. a catastrophic policy would be great, but i cant get that. why? the govt says it's illegal.
"see we need reform, right?"
reform would mean the govt getting out of industry meddling and micro managing
fantastic--so the fed govt destroys industry then say they have the solution to fix it

What has changed other then a smart, educated, person of color, trying to do the best thing this county could have done for itself. Something we needed long ago.
I think you just want the good old days, where the white male Christian runs the show. Well, I am glad to say that time has come and gone. P.S. Im white by the way:)
4me2cclearly 2 years ago 3
That's a good question. You guys were saying it 5 years ago when Bush was up for re-election. As far as I'm concerned "take our country back" simply means "hey America vote us back into power."
sakonhagakure 2 years ago 2
you exemplify the hypocrisy in this climate, JUST based on what you say here.
i resent and oppose President obama. from his frightening foeirgn policy to his massively expanding federal govt.
you, on the other hand, support a smart, educated person of color? something, you feel we needed long ago. white christians? you are white? colored person?
you are obsessed with race. look at your own words.
they aren't mean, but what is it with you and color?
whatever it is keep it to yourself.

Tax Exxon & Pfizer to pay for healthcare.
mcc11505 2 years ago
It is a fact most ron Paul supporters are white, but it is a shame really that most minorities(not all walter williams for one) have no concept of Constitutional Liberty or Classical Liberalism.
Stevo2444 2 years ago
it's not just minorities it's most people. It's just come election time conservative candidates don't reach out to the minority communities.
sakonhagakure 2 years ago

Oh come on, they are all for nothing. You have to be for something. Bunch of whiners, the lot of them.

Oh no!! Americans protesting!! How communistic, We should have a czar to control the American masses. Better to it before Tuesday though, wouldn't wanna miss Obama's indoctrination. Damn it all, America should buy out toilet paper to wipe the shit up from all this division.

Well, at least they're not shoved into "Free Speech Zones". This is just a disagreement not a forceful shove around the corner.

Hilarious on so many levels.
Guess that's us now.

good one, davis.
went to a town hall last night. it was a waste of time. i regret having to say that.
all, ALL, of the questions were preselected and 98% of them were scripted anti-reform talking points. the questioners were allowed to editorialize and the answers have all been heard before.
frankly, i was disgusted, and i LIKE my rep and voted for him.
these teagaggers have succeeded. our town hall meeting on health care was pointless.

To label the tea party protesters as racists is a mistake, but not surprising. Ron Paul's talking points are a bad thing? Why is that?
Audit TheFED
ScottishViking1977 2 years ago 4
Libertarian ideals under a Republican banner, fine. What I don't like is his religious views and his willingness to shove them down my throat. I wouldn't care if he was Buddhist, Muslim, Judaism, etc.. Keep your story book emotional crutch out of politics, peoples lives, the state, no state....I agree audit the Fed Res. But after that I part company with RP and his supporters.
medicatedsaint 2 years ago
I think Ron Paul associations unlike Obamas would be the downfall of his 2012 chances. It gets harder and harder to differentiate btw RP supporter and Alex Jones (town) idiots. Then again RP doesnt help himself by continuing to appear on his show.
I still support RP, but if i had know he was friends with the loon AJ, i wouldnt have even given him a chance.
RP fans should start a petition to ask RP to lay off AJs show until the 2012 campaign is over.
uche007us 2 years ago 2
Uche- keep in mind RP appeared on AJ when no other venue would have him on... unless they were asking him demeaning questions and pandering the public with seemingly radical sound bytes. There's another big youtuber who would put down RP because he said he had a loony following... the guy agreed that RP was the best candidate with most of his issues but refused to support him because of some of his supporters. The media will exploit the AJ appearances but alas, the media itself is the problem.
lightleague 2 years ago
If I may interject here for a moment. Ron Paul needs better PR. AJ was not the best place to go to spread his message regardless if it was the only venue that would book him on. It seems those who agree with his policies have done well in getting his name out there. The same for us Kucinich supporters like me. The media is not the problem, it's the people. This should show you how educated we really are as a nation.
medicatedsaint 2 years ago 2
Ron Paul had his chance on Fox news and on Fox business network. Glenn Beck did everything he could to get Ron Paul's message out there. But what killed Ron Paul's message the most were his messengers (aka his supporters) Even tho he's a right wing libertarian (like myself) he should've taken better advantage of fox news and AM Talk radio, tell his supporters stop pissing off the party base and learn how to play the game and lie a little. (even if he has to.)
sakonhagakure 2 years ago

Maybe if the government showed just a little bit of competency with their current programs people wouldn't be so hesitant.
btw, gotta love the republican ad on the screen at the end. lol
