Yeah, I have a downtown Medford story. The Federal Courthouse is the James A. Redden Courthouse. Jack Redden's court Reporter for his whole career has been an old black gentleman named Mr. Stephens. When Judge Redden first started going down to Medford to hold court in Federal District Court cases, he told the Medford Police and JC Sheriffs that if ANYONE MESSED WITH STEPHENS, hew ould never come back, and there would NEVER be a Federal Court in Medford.
