  • get gimp at craft store like ac moorr micheal and even parent teacher store in scocth plain in blue star mall, and watchung square

  • Cool video but I'm having trouble starting it

  • I'm european and I was a massive Scoebidoe (as we called it) fan when it was a hot topic here, and we just pulled the last 2 (box) knots, even in a circle knotted thing, VERY TIGHT, almost snapping the strands. Snap off the ends, and the loop will wear through before the ends come apart. I've had a lanyard finished that way (no glue whatsoever) on my keychain for 5 years now. Also we always started with a loop (aka begin around a pen) instead of ended it with a loop.

  • you can use lighter for finishing.

  • thanks this video was verrrry helpful!!!!

  • u buy it at dollar store

  • do you have to do it in that same way you did it?

  • i call it the box

  • umm guys i am from europe and not a single peoron i know glues it...i tie a knot the melt it ,using a lighter, outside so dunno were u get that from......

  • wow that hurting my eyes sorry

  • Zaner749@ lol that's what iwas thinking :P

  • can u just burn it??

  • USA USA USA

  • @maekeisha, if you live in the US, which probably you might since you have walmart. a good place to buy them is at michael's, the arts and craft shop.

  • Thank you very much for your video! It helps much! :)

  • Thank You. I prefer the American way because it looks stronger and more durable.

  • Where's your adult

  • that makes it ugly at the end the american way

  • Whoa where did you get the sizzers, because my sizzers I used are terrible at cutting the lanyard string...pleezzzzz reply :)

  • what is the string called?

  • @TheCoolthao Craftlace, Plastic string or Gimp. :D hope i help.

  • thanks

  • i love your videos! they are so much easier to follow than google :) u should keep making videos:)

  • Thanks for uploading videos of ending lanyards. its way better than looking on google about how to end a lanyard cuz sometimes u don't get it, its better to see it done. Thanks for all the lanyard videos!!!

  • The American style is my favorite. I hate glue. We don't get along lol. Plus it looks nicer and stays together better without glue :)

  • "super glue is dangerous" LOL

  • SuperVision of an adult ? :))

  • we used to call this "the box" then we had a twisted box called the "barrel" there was even another variation called the "triangle" that only used 3 strings instead of 4

  • wow the Europeans get it EASY!!

  • u can buy string from walmmart thats mostly where i get my string

and u need to make more veidos

  • @agcraftlace you probably can, also try a craft store like Michael's

  • thank you :) why can't you tie it in a regular knot?

  • @darinochka17 probibly cuz it looks ugly

  • thank you sooo much! I never knew how to tie one of those! :)

  • @darinochka17 pull so hard the strings almost snap for the last 2 knots and the thing will be tied off the best. Superglue won't take if your strings were oily because of your hands, burning is bad for your health and the american way comes apart sooner than the pull so hard they almost snap way. Have had one finished that way on my keychain for years now and only the loop is starting to wear through, but the end is solid as ever.

  • can u burn the ends of them?if so how

  • I get mines at an arts & crafts store like Michaels

  • @puffyhead1 i found mine at a yard sale! i got 6 full packs all different colors for 2 bucks!

  • can u buy tha string like at walmart ?

  • @maekeisha I believe so, but I've never tried. I buy mine off of Amazon. I put the link to my recommendations from Amazon in my video above. It will show up in the top left corner after the first 5 seconds.

  • @maekeisha i never buy my gimp at wal-mart i never see them there . i go to um. A.C. Moore it might be a little expensive but i think its worth it

  • @maekeisha the funny thing is I won this off a fair for 4 dollars a whole packet lolz.

  • wow thats really confusing

  • @frogsmarty try finishing the twisted wall stitch

  • bad cam but tight vid thanks

  • coolio thnx so much!

  • That's cool. I never thought of super glue. When I was young, my mom would always melt the ends of ours over an open flame. But I like the bringing all the strings through the middle. Very nice. Thank you!

  • @HeavenlyEvilness ya, i always use a candle or lighter to melt the ends of a laneyard to finish it, before this video i didn't know of any other ways.

  • @HeavenlyEvilness craft lace burning on an open fire p.s. the world has ended if this gets 10 likes
