Is she wearing a hanfu or a kimono?

It'd make sense that she is wearing a hanfu since she's singing the Red Cliff song about the Sinitic Han Dynasty. On the other hand, it'd also make sense if she is wearing a kimono since she is in Japan.

It looks like a hanfu since the sleeves are draping, and it lacks the huge bow at the back characteristic of most kimonos, but the mid section sash is larger than what most hanfus use and is characteristic of kimonos...
