@peterpamanez yes , missed for his hitting ,,,, but did you know that ted was even more remarkable than just hitting ,,, he excelled in every thing he took seriously ,,, one of the most amazing humans ever ,,, no other had accomplished what he did ,,,, a perfectionist in every thing he tried ,,,,,, we will not likely see another human like him for a long long time , ,if ever ,,,, it would take too many characters to comment on all he mastered in life ,,,,,, thanks sox fan
if mr. williams had played baseball in those years that he served his country he would have set records that would still be standing now and likely forever. r.i.p. ted, thanks for the memories.
@sailin1934 Its been pro rated that if he had not lost those years, he would have had 700 home runs, 3400 hits and 2200 RBI's..........You're telling me it's sad that he lost those years
the season after Ted returned from Korea a beanball sent all the players on the field. Ted decided the best way to calm the situation was to hold an opposing player in place. Later on that player confided that he was not able to move even an inch because the grip strength was so tremendous.
@MrEasyLife This guy had the status of a John Wayne (except Ted was a war hero-not a draft dodger). Williams at least deserved a decent burial and not to be carved up and frozen like a Christmas turkey.

@faffaflunkie Well, of course, I agree with that. I guess I misunderstood your first message. I apologize for my earlier message.

@MrEasyLife Well they (if Williams' late son John Henry wasn't a douchebag) could have buried him at Arlington, VA, which is what he deserved.

1) Hold your breath.
2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.
If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker

Has anybody noted what a HANDSOME son of a gun Willams was? And I say this as a straight guy:).
Sheez, if I were even half as good-looking as Ted was during his prime, I'd rule the world:):) --
