Oh, and if you haven't already get yourself a small hand held electric buffer and some polishing compound, a lot of faded looking paint can actually just be years of dirt and wax build up and that should clear things up to a nice shine. I do my own paint jobs here so if you need any advice let me know!

alright. its configuration and dimensions are not great and its c.o.m (center of mass) is off. cooling is sometimes a problem in some models and pickup is just decent. handling is poorer compared to other great brands. ask any honest riders who tried Ducati, Yamaha or Honda and they will tell you.

Mine is the 07 GSX-R, C.O.M never a prob, I use engine ice for a coolant and never gets above 200 (I live in Tucson AZ aka center of hell so thats reeealllly good for any bike here)BUT I will agree on pick up, doesn't really get and go till your higher in the rpm's, handling with it is awesome I can throw her around in the corners with ease. I agree some models should never have even been thought of *cough* Katana *cough*. All in all I like my bike, NEVER gave me any problems.

A couple friends of mine have newer Honda's and hate them but I have a friend with a very old F2 and it runs like a champ and he loves it. Ducati is alright but that dry clutch... I shudder. Haven't had the pleasure of owning Yamaha but it would be a bike I would buy, I like them. So I do like other bikes other than my Suzuki but they had there head on straight for 06 and 07, 08 is really bad though have you seen where they put some of the wiring?! WTF!
