That is actually a perfect wet gin martini. A little vermouth goes a long way. Notice she stirred it and didnt shake it. You shake Vodka (ie James Bond), you stir gin.

I think you wrong. If you shake the vermouth, it become cloudy. Thats why we don't shake the martinis (even if it vodka or gin martini). And I think that the first time Bond asked this drink, he asked to stir and not to shake.
@hardrockerdave94 What she has made is a poor mans extar dry martini. the proper way to do this would be to first stir or shake a shot of vermouth with the ice, strain the vermouth away and then add your gin, and STIR or SHAKE not shwizzling! this way you add an accent of vermouth flavour but maintain a strong gin flavour.
