  • i actually really liked your location - steam in a real working situation slogging up the bank along with all the electrics - great context and makes it interesting so....…..☁☁☁☁☁⁘⁙⁚⁛…..Hᴜɢʜ….TU…..ツ

  • @HughFromAlice Thank you very much for your further comment on this video. Really appreciate it. :)

  • I did enjoy the video and you got a great sound of Britannia slogging up the grade. I think the problem with your location is that steam is on the Down South Eastern track and your standing by the Up Southern track. There must be 10 tracks between you and the train you're filming so you are going to get bowled. I filmed Britannia on the Up run at Hounslow. Please take a look, comment and if you like subscribe and I'll return the favour. Barry

  • Now *thats* the money shot for Victoria departures, IMO far more interesting than watching the loco get pushed from the end of the platform. Very nice!

  • @Christopher125 Thank you very much for your comment, really appreciate it. I've been to Victoria station itself before and, whilst it's good, it can get a bit boring after a few times, so I fancied trying something else and hey presto here is the result! I reckon I got some great photos from here too, including what I think is a cracking 'money shot' of Britannia - the photos should be uploaded to Flickr within the next 24hrs. Cheers.

I reckon it was a great shot too! The power of steam expressed! Great comparison of two different types of traction! TU1
