Back then, I wasn't interested in SSP racers because the exterior wheels didn't spin as the car moved. Guess I was too much of a realist as a child. LOL
@FordMonsterTruck make one! if you're deteremined enough you can learn how to mold your own plastic out of used plastic bags, theres an article on "make" magazine about plastic smithing. google it up!
I can remember seeing the Super Stocker in the Myer toy department when my family was in Melbourne circa 1972. My folks wouldn't buy it for me. Never saw another one back in Brisbane. Bummer.
I can't tell you how many times I was hit in the face with the t-stick trying to pull it out of the car. Along with getting my hair caught in the wheels. LOL
Got the limited "Green Rail" thanks to the coolest mom. Only way you could get that particular SST was to send 40, yes forty labels from Welch's grape juice when it still came in the steel one quart can. My mom went to grocery store and bought 40 freaking cans of the stuff. No idea where that car is now, probably in the attic at my parents.
HEY ... I HAD ONE .I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE IT AGAIN !

I always wished the Evel Knievel stunt cycles had a T stick like these!
goosemanDIY 2 years ago
LOL! I remember that if you got to excited when revving up the Evel Knievel launcher you could strip out the plastic gears!

@frodovader It was better when one crashed into Your bare foot! The fronts of those cars were like hard plastic chisels, and they could go quite fast.
