This show brings back memories. You see you young folks under 25 don't understand how good thinks were on weekends. Their would be B-level action shows on the weekends after the cartoons. And to answer your other question, Superboy is Superman as a teenager. In the comics, through the 50s to the mid 80s, Superman started his career in Smallville as a teenager, but there was a reboot of the entire DC universe called Crisis on Infinite Earths. As a result, the origins of most of the company's characters were rewritten. Superman went through the most changes I believe. He became a superhero as an adult and never was Superboy.

LOL ... You're right the Bizarro of Superboy is the Bizarro from the comics. White feceted skin, chiseled features, backwards dialogue, warped interpretations. But of course most people will side with Smallville because its "in style" and Superboy is all but yesterday's news. Lana Lang is also suppose to be the all American red head but we see how Smallville handles that character as well.

I didn't mean to insult Smallville fans - but there is just soooo much more the producers could do with that show. I can't exhibit the same patience that the fans do with Gough/Millar when it comes to issues like accurate portrayal of characters, costumes, and Clark not getting pwned by every "villain of the week". His last couple of fights Clark won by using a colored crystal against his enemy, instead of using his powers and fighting it out to win. It's just not the Superman I grew up with.
