Hi, very late to this but I just wanted to comment on the overdriven repeats you're hearing: The tube (12ax7 comes stock) is used to "warm up" the repeats on this digital delay pedal. The knob at bottom left controls the extent to which the tube is driven, with anything over 3 typically producing noticeable distortion. The lower right knob rolls off highs and boosts mids slightly to simulate a tape echo. It's quite likely that most of the "overdrive" in the clip is actually coming from the pedal

this doesnt seem like a "delay" pedal. it gives a slight echo and reverb, are there any demos with this with songs like "where the streets have no name"? this pedal seems to just add color and nothing more
so! you know how to get edge' delays hahaha!come on...is more than just a simple pedal even whit that one 'cause I know is a good one, but, well you know
Well pardon moi, you should have clarified in your previous lackluster comment just exactly what you were talking about. And no, I wouldn't like "everyone" to hold the pick for me...just you...thanks.
It covers a setting(singular) and any asshole can have a guitar and amp...TYPE matters...is it a tube amp? what kind? what kind of guitar? what kind of pickups? Not to mention it doesn't say his amp is mic'd, headphones wouldn't matter cause cleary he's not utilizing them while playing...thanks.
can you please tell us a bit more about your set up? The tone is absolutely mind blowing. Are you runnint a guitar directly into the unit and then into an amp. What kind of amp? are you using a stereo amp setup...
I'm very much interested in the unit and am wondering how it will sound with a solid state amp.
thanks..... i appreciate your video. great playing....very beautiful.
This is nice, but it´s not close to U2´s delay sound in any way...

does anyone know what kind of amp was used, to get that nice slightly overddriven amp sound.
or does anyone know a good overdrive pedal that is not to harsh, i play at church and sound guy doesn't like harsh distortion.
was looking into seymour duncan twin tube, but would like some other options.
tito316 2 years ago
@tito316 most od's are not harsh at all, like a ts-9

@tito316 the perfect pedal for you is the ibanez tube screamer.

You don't have much experience with delay pedals.. do you? This is what a delay sounds like going into a slightly overdriven amp.

So, I emailed fpe-tv and asked how the tone was achieved in this video:
"flip pedal straight into a Badcat amp. les paul guitar. nothing else."
That's pretty awesome.
kronksan 3 years ago
yeah but badcat amps are the shit you can't really go wrong, but nonetheless this is a wicked pedal.

No, this vid simply covers the aspect of this pedal, not the guitar, amps, other settings, or the plethora of other pedals he has...thanks.
