  • Love the no measuring, and the piano, I can tell your a good cook.

  • SO VERY NICE.MUSIC IS ANOTHER THING THOE.

  • Oh this looks grrrreat! I've gotta try it!

  • Looks really good but how much is "some". You're the first person I saw actually make the pudding from scratch.

  • Accidentally hit dislike bc of my phone keys I LOVE this video thanks.

  • I love everything on your blog, the best....xoxoxo

  • I used to like deserts like this, but then I took a pie to the face!

  • 1. Thank you for this informative video. I admire how you can make this without measuring. Wow.

    2. I believe you should never disCard your egg whites! You can put freeze them in ice cube trays or Tupperware for later use in egg-white omelets, soufflés, meringues, white cake (my fav!), macarons, etc.

    3. If you're not a fan of sour cream, you can make whipped cream much easier by just whipping up heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.

    4. Thank you again for this video!

  • Can you post the measurements here? I clicked on your link and it doesn't seem to exist anymore.

  • @donniedarkodevotte Try the link now :)

  • Hello Rosie, I enjoy your recipes and I am going to be making your banana pudding in a few days but I have one questions can you tell me how long to let the mixture cook on the stove and what consistency am I looking for to know when to take it off the stove.

  • Every banana pudding recipe I find online calls for sour cream. My mother never put sour cream in her banana pudding. Matter of fact, I don't remember any of my friends moms putting sour cream in their banana pudding either.

  • Thanks for the video!

  • I never saw this version of banana pudding. My mother always did the same thing except I want to say she baked her in some kind of way. I also remember her keeping the egg whites and whipping them up with I guess sugar to spread across the top and it would cook. Then when she got it out it would be a brown color on top. This looks good too. I will have to try it.

  • i'm gonna try it this sunday;0) Thank you so much for the video;0)

  • banana pudding is to the south what cheese cake is to New York...i make my pudding a lttle differently...I place all my cookies and bananas in the serving bowl then cook my milk , sugar, vanella, butter and flour until it thickens and then take it off the heat and then add my egg yolks (slowly so not make scrambled eggs)...then i pour it over the bananas and cookies while the pudding is still hot......use the whites for merengue

Ill be trying yours next time!
