I don't play WoW anymore and I follow it since Vanilla. But I understand the changes and I know the reasons behind it, cuz I have played almost every single decent MMORPG and always people say that. You may not like it, many ppl will.

I've played WoW for over 5 years. Vanilla and TBC were truly golden and as weird as it sounds a huge experience for me in my life. I'm only 18 now and quit in Cataclysm, didn't really enjoy Wrath of the Lich King too. I'm very glad I still have the memories of the pas. All the experiences, encounters, friends and epic momentst, I can honestly say they're all priceless memories.

I wish i could have been there for these days, but luckily i started playing right before BC came out and all through BC. I Quit for wotlk, came back in cata but stopped playing 6 months ago. WoW wasn't the same. Thankfully there are awesome people out there that host private servers. If you ever want to see these days again, a private server is the best way to go. I'm currently on World of Scriptcraft, and despite its few bugs, the server is great. Don't expect a cakewalk and be prepared!

I saw a full T3 geared arms warrior back in vanilla with most his team healing him. We were getting slaughtered, but, fuck, it was awesome.

Now you have so many little kids complaining they haven't got this, this guy has that, that guy is overpowered, I want what he has or its not fair, blah blah blah. Each class will have every other classes abilities soon, with a new name/spell effect to cover its mechanic. Oh how you've fallen WoW.

Vanilla felt like an entirely different game compared to current content. I don't know if it's just the nostalgia talking here, but the atmosphere isn't the same. Nothing will ever hold a candle to MC, BWL and 40-man Naxx (not the garbage they regurgitated).  There was an entirely different guild dynamic (no pugging raids, lul), and world PvP actually existed. Hillsbrad, anyone? Flying mounts and instant ports to instances killed that.

Maydie was my inspiration to keep going with my warrior and eventually I became one of the top 3 PvP Warriors of my server and dominated 5v5 Arena during Burning Crusade. Thanks for the good times.
