I saw Ross Wilson and his "band" perform Hi Honey Ho (and everything else!) in Brisbane about 10 years ago. His voice was awesome. He introduced it by saying something like .... "Here's one from a long, long time ago ...... and I wrote it!"
thanx 4 the memoreez . . . wasn't it nearly 30 yrs ago when ross tore the shit out of an interviewer when asked about DC - his response was about DC's dead and buried - moving on, etc I'm on a totally different creative trip, piss-off, etc, or words to that effect?
Anyway these clips make me nearly 40yrs younger, and I can almost feel a flashback coming on . . . whooooeeee . . . hang on to yer head fred!!!
Yeah..this blows. Where is the slow, slacker-swing, driving the sound that makes the original better. I heard the Stones ruin Honky Tonk woman when they played it live in the 80s. Same deal, crisp, light, clean and dull. Love DC though.
anybody know of any more tours and if thay come to New Zealand??

This would be my favourite DC song but apart from RH's solo, they sound tired and fairly uninterested to me.
