Okay, I am trying to figure out why most screaming sounds stupid to me, but some sounds awesome. This guy has a fuckin's sick sounding scream. He is not doing the throaty Melissa cross method is he? It sounds like he is actually pushing air in a manner than would destroy most people's vocal chords. Is his voice quality just more convincing, or is he actually using a different technique from most metal singers?
In alot of Coreys songs it sounds like he's yelling more than screaming, especially the album Redeemer. You can actually understand what he's saying most of the time.

its been the same singer for the last 3 albums. the only time they had a different singer was on "Bless the Martyr"... That singer went on to sing for The Chariot.

it became my hw music then they became my favorite band..... I have so much emotion for this band.....No CD has ever musically touched me or amazed me like Norma Jean's O' God the Aftermath. And the fact that they represent christ is an ultra plus. it's like an adventure or like a horror movie experience listening to them.....
My god ......I remember when I first heard this band....I watching fuse metal countdown.... after being exposed to bands like Killswitch Engage, As I lay Dying, Atreyu, Meshuggah, Wicked Wisdom etc, Norma Jean Liarsenic came on.... I was so blown away by the music video... they were so different they had a different guitar style they werent riffy like the other bands.... and then I went to their website and I luved the artwork...It was like I looking through a horror movie....

Well all i have to say is that norma jean rocks asshole. I mean the vocals are extremely intense. The guy (Cory Brandon) is CLEARLY SCREAMING HIS FUCKING GUTS OUT which let me tell you it takes some balls. It's called an opinon. If you want a strong opinon, it has to be concrete. A true opinon has to shut off other opinons so it is valid. It's not called closed minded, it's called validity. No. I'm not closed minded because I have looked into the chance of not only of one god, but of multiple. There is just NOTHING to back up such a statement. Not only that, if you watch how churches are being run it becomes very obvious that they aren't working for "god" but for the money that a "god" brings in.

I don't think NJ ripped off Botch. They added their own element to the foundation Botch created, but that isn't ripping them off. Without early metal bands such as Sabbath and Priest, there wouldn't be Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeth, Botch would have never had a foundation to create their genre on. Music is a progressive thing. Everything is influenced by everything. It's not like one day Dave Verellen, Dave Knudson, Tim Latona and Brian Cook picked up instruments and created hardcore.

Also, I choose not to be friends with stoners because I genuinely care about my friends. I don't want to see my friends poison themselves, thus I go through several sacrifices and pains to distance myself from those people. There was a woman I knew who was beautiful, smart, creative, and very nice...But she smoked pot. She didn't go around talking about it, but she still did it. I found her attractive and everything, but I didn't want to see someone, that I could care about, poison themselves.
