His vocals aren't all that good but when you listen to the songs that he wrote and sings, you can see why he's better singing his own songs rather than cover other peoples.

Not too sure about the comment on his voice. I'm a big Oasis fan, however, Liam's voice sounds shit lately (apart from when he's in the studio and they put it in the right key of course!) and Noel doesn't sing he SHOUTS. Check out Andy's voice on his work with Ride; I think you'll be a bit surprised.

At last, someone makes sense - Liam and Noel are loosing their routes, their singing is so polished on the albums but their live performances are shocking lately. Liam's voice on Definetly Maybe is the true Oasis sound, but now he snarls through his nostrills and Noel trys too hard.

They should gave Gem and Andy a chance at a few tracks.

I agree with the song writing mate, 100%. It's never been the same since the others got involved in the song writing, I know that!

But I'd like to hear an Oasis track with Gem or Andy on vocals - they can both sing, but sound pretty average - and that, I believe, may give Oasis another leverage. It may not work, but then again, it might. The last album was way under advertised, and that's why 70% (my guess) of the Country have never heard of it. We need Top of the pops and CDUK back on TV.

Noel sounds amazing in the smaller venues, he doesn't need to shout like he does in Wembley or whatever. Like the acoustic gigs he did with Gem at the Union Chapel... those were magic.

i wouldn't say noel shouts, he sounds great live. he knows how to sing it to fit the venue, although he gets lazy backing sometimes. but i think gem and andy should both sing their songs, its being wasted just playing guitar and bass
