Gotta give it up. When I saw this LF-A in yellow I was amazed. Looks good. A bit over-priced but still like no other. I'm guessing this is Lexus attempt at boosting sales of it cause it really hasn't sold sadly :/

The LFA looks like a bulked up Celica GT. Do a side by side comparison and you'll see what I'm talking about. For it's price I would rather have a Lambo Aventador or a Ferrari 458 or a Porsche 911 Turbo/GT2-RS. It's not worth it.

@royaloreca I know; even mid 90s Camaros had highly recessed engines. To me it was a sign of the modern times of electronics and new wave design in the motor industry. Sometimes it's a design feature, most of the time it's so the owner cannot work on their own vehicle.

I miss the good old days of big motor compartments and enough space between the front pulley and the radiator, that you could stick your kid in there and have him hold the flashlight.

The only other car I've seen with it's engine pushed this far back (released in last five years) is the SLR Mclaren, I never thought of it keeping you from modding the car any further, makes a lot of sense, thanks for the info

Know something before you type, man....GT-R is an AWD with some weight, but Lexus LFA is more close to being a Ferrari 599 GTB killer, thanks to its RWD system and the F1 inspired engine. I like GT-R better myself, but LFA makes a better engine sound.

Why do some people hate on this car? This was built by TOYOTA, when was the last time you saw something of this caliber come from the lazy driving, boring safety/quality driven company? NEVER before. This is an outstanding vehicle to be produced by that company, no matter the cost. It is incredibly unique, sounds like a fucking race car, and has all the details you expect at that level of the market. I love how they didn't try to make an italian wannabe, this IS japanese. Also, some thought the LF-C was gonna be the new SC, and to be honest, it sort of did. Both the current SC and IS are heavily based on the GS platform. @fd3srules aha, but you're looking at only one side of it. I think a lot of the RX7 owners annoy the IS owners by bragging about how fast their tuned cars are, that is, after they realized that their RX7s are nothing without forced induction.

Of course the car has body roll; Lexus intended it all. They know people who care will go aftermarket (or even better for Lexus, F-sport products).

The thing is that... you can't just generalize IS kids like that.
