HANDS over bar... Ive done one on a goal post as well its all about the initial grip. Thicker the bar the more difficult to get wrist up and over it. Great job man. Keep up the good work. Check out my vids. Most recent attempt is 4 reps. I made a video with some cool background music.
hey brother just to let you know THAT haters are everywhere. Take what you need from them and always keep going and the most important thing, enjoy what you do. bye and thanks.! God bless
nice almost there, i wish i could do at least that much i have been nearly at the same point now for months, I dont really work out too much though but still.
I can rip reps of both elbows popping up at the same time now.... maybe I'll do a video response for all the people that are talking smack about this video...
Only thing I want to comment on is the dropping off afterwards, the landing made me cringe. Have you practised squatting, same principles apply, unless you convert the downwards force to forwards momentum with a roll or leaning forward onto your hands.
@lookwhoscomin Maybe it's because they know what "proper" form is? So if you're a gymnastics coach and can't do a giant or round off back full, then you are unfit to give advice? There are plenty of people that coach gymnastics that did not start gymnastics until late after adolescence, which was probably too late.
Your logic is faulty. People don't have to be able to do a muscle up to determine what a proper muscle up is. Stop defending this guy's improper form and misleading title. e-trolls.
it aint faulty your just a dumbass. you compare highly trained people to these trolls which is pathetic.gymnastic coaches have training, they know what they are talking about unlike these cyber warriors (like yourself)
anybody can make out improper form but that's besides the point as not everybody can give good advice
@lookwhoscomin nah I my friend has only been working at this place for 3 months and he teaches recreational classes. Can you really properly teach kids if you've only gotten three months practice? How were a you able to produce the assumption that peterpan187 couldn't do a muscl up?
All he did was suggest he get rings and practice. The muscle up on the bar is derived from the rings fyi. Also, it doesn't help your case that you resort to name calling lmao. I may be ignorant, but certainly not

Nice muscle up, just keep working on variations between which arm you put up first and then use swing and don't use swing until you get it perfect.

good luck with developing muscle up with pushing two elbows at the same time :) I'm on little further level, but I have still problems with that.
