i clocked that in at 8.0 seconds flat but then again it's not that easy clocking them in manually from a video. but impressive for a truck that weighs as much as the tahoe.
My mom has a 2000 Yukon XL w/195,000 miles. Original engine & tranny. When we went on vacation we rented a 2011 Tahoe w/ 6 speed auto. Definitely much nicer than the 4 speed!
@vrso2 Yeah definately. I used to have a 2006 GMC Envoy Denali with the same tranny and the same engine. The tranny went around 40-50k and the engine went a month ago at 70k. Why GM didn't put the 6 speeds in the 07-08 years is beyond me. As far as I know, the 09's+ have the 6 speed.
@vrso2 I'm glad I read your comment. My mom has been complaining to me about her 07 Yukon and how it's already turned crappy at 60,000 miles. This is the first I've heard about the trannys going out so quickly. Have you heard anything about the 4 speed trannys going out on 07 GMC Sierras? My brother drives one of those and I think both of those vehicles were built a little under par.
@vrso2 i believe , that sierra got same trany and tat's the problem. That trany is not strong enough for heavy suburban. After 2009 they changed them for 6 speed. My truck was still under warranty, so they replaced my with free of charge (5yrs/100k/mil)

hmm, i got 07 burb and trany is one big shame. In 56k they replaced whole trany after warranty. 4 speed trany in 2007-2010 is a SHAME !!!
