@DutchManticore Sure it is. The Boondock Saints, they're killing and murdering the filth and criminals "for the good of mankind". Killing is abundant in movies and it's also commonly glorified.

Rock'n'Rolla is so stylized as a gangster movie you can't take it seriously. GTA:SA and MTV "gangsta" themes are based on the gangs popularized in rap culture and the like. This gangster movie is based on the "mob". Does the mob shown in this movie seem like they're in poverty? You're mixing them up.

@acountddd Gangster movies are very cool and intriguing and if you don't like a gangster scene because you think gangsters are terrible in real life then you are most definitely bringing in real-world values into a film. Just let that shit go and watch this movie for being what it is. A cool, slick mob movie. I suggest you take on Guy Ritchie's other "gangster" films like "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and see if you like them. They are great gangster flicks.

for those of u havent seen this movie yet it has a good plot line but if ur expectin alot of action in this movie ur in for a disappointment there is some jus not alot over all it is well made if warner duz allow guy ritchie to continue the story then he probly will put a little more effort as far as action goes
