I have natal Chiron over Jupiter right on my ascendant on gemini, Sun/Neptune conjunction over pluto in capricorn, and pluto/vertex over saturn in scorpio, so this 2012 yod is going to really hit home on a natal yod I have....not to mention that in my natal chart saturn is conjunct my south node in between the sextile aspect - forming a boomerang....Do you think someone close to me will pass away like my father this year?
@88bottlesoflove That sounds like one very intense chart! And it is responding very powerfully to current conditions - which are pretty intense too. Looks like you are being pushed very hard to re-direct highly developed personal qualities in this life time with very little margin for error. About that question of someone's death: I haven't had much experience with that kind of prediction.
@northwatuppa You're right on about that....I'm currently trying to go back to school for computer science....strangely, chiron quintiles my moon in Pisces in the tenth house...and Pisces is intercepted in the tenth...with the MC and Venus conjunct Aquarius on the 9th/10th....thanks for your help....I'm broke but if I had money I'd pay you for more. Namaste.
@northwatuppa I am also doing accounting and studying taxes. I have a sun in the eighth/seventh house in capricorn conjunct neptune and jupiter in cap in the eighth house....it forms a hard aspect to chiron....I have two very potent triangles but they aren't listed as common formations like a yod or bowl...they are one trine and two sextile triangles...each one has a trine and two sextiles..
@88bottlesoflove My biggest issue in life is that i'm addicted to art...I draw, write, paint and write songs that have never been made, using simplicity and constriction....I am one of those who creates right away, I don't need to learn everything on the instrument, or medium, which is dangerous for me, because five hours will pass me by while i write a song but receive nothing for it.
@88bottlesoflove I also know martial arts well enough to teach it....you can see how that gemini ascendant with mercury in Sagittarius is really working its way on me like a boxer works on his opponents stomach.
@88bottlesoflove Might I suggest that you study your moon's nodes. This is the easiest way to get to the essence of your chart - your life purpose and direction. It sounds like a whopper of a birth chart. But if you want to cut to the chase - to find your dharma for this lifetime, the North Node is the most reliable and concise indicator. In my experience, everything else will fall into place once you understand the meaning of your North Node.
Excellent work. My reading focuses more on the religious/spiritual aspects to the interpretation. But you and I agree on many things and emphasize similar aspects too. It makes me feel somewhat validated. Thanks for your readings!
@Yatukih001 Yes, I am also very optimistic for the future of the US. The only thing I would say is that the transitional struggles can be rough and very difficult even for those not directly involved. It is good to be a little self-protective in these difficult times. Having said that, I think the US will come out better, stronger and richer for the changes.
@aquariousonwater Yes, but the US has a very resilient chart. Many times I have taken one look at the aspects and said, Oh, no, here we go! But I do a composite chart with the US chart, and the US comes up roses. Don't count the US out.
Coming from the first house and the aspects it makes to Pluto (the square) and Jupiter (the sextile) may mean that any attempt to force policies of social and financial change will be met by equal and abrupt force from the people who make up the collective on which it is imposed.
This is a really good series of videos and I look forward to future posts as always.
Thank you Carl, for the work that you do and for sharing with us your insights. They are much appreciated!
I am preparing a video on 2012 & the US chart. So far, it confirms most of what I have seen in other charts. But it adds something: It looks like a kind of creative, primal chaos is going to break out in the US, with everybody demanding change for the better. The economic issue is going to morph into a political, philosophical, moral, cultural issue--in other words, into one big, loosely organized, highly energized reform movement.
mmm, I see what your saying. There is a considerable amount of skepticism as to the "recovery" of economic security. People are feeling like they just don't want to play the same ball game, and are no longer willing to keep on keeping on in the same vein. I don't think that it will result in violent situations, more of a passive resistence and refusal to play by the old rules.
Yes, there are some issues economically that demand revison if the US is to make full and lasting recovery. I think it involves exipiation of personal debt and changes in banking and lending institutions.
In the composite chart, Pluto will be virtually ON the ascendant in Capricorn. So will Quaoar, the planet of creative chaos and release from old patterns. Neptune will be in Sag at 11 degrees of the 11th house, the house of Aquarius. Uranus will be on the cusp of the 4th house.
Quote a chart. It will effectively vaporize existing thought patterns and demolish "conventional wisdom."
The potential for disruptive change is apparent...but where will it manifest? At the very roots of the establishments that hold the existing order in place, I think.
I have a hard time visualizing the process. Generally, I think of it in terms of vaporizing existing structures, turning everything fluid.
I always go back to my experience of the 60s when vast numbers of people began to revolt, wherever they were, at home, at work, on the road, they just started to do things differently, on the spot. But this time it will be more thorough and irreversible.
I don't think the country will just melt down. But it will almost certainly be tough on the nerves.
If anything drives the reform movement, it will be initally be the personal experience of what has been wrong in the first place, and by extension recognition of the suffering of our fellows.
remember, the world has been ending since some dude built his house on top of a hill, above others, many many, beyond many moons ago ;)
loving you all! ;)
(((and who's to say our calender is right? and who can say there isnt another calender right buried half finished because the Mayans "disppeared"/ were massacred?
I must confess, I am not much good at math and when I try to read detailed accounts of the Mayan calendar, my mind starts spinning. But as I said, I was actually quite impressed with the chart. Also, I have always figured that the 2012 date referred to events in consciousness. You make an interesting point about the possibility of their being more Mayan calendars out there. There might be some already in museums that we just haven't heard about.
I just enjoy thinking of all the possibilities. =0) until We, as One, are able to see the Truth here (maybe another 2000 years, lol) all we have is speculation.
thats why all things are possible. =0)
i dont worry about the symbols really anymore, just worry about the intent behind them.
Yup. Indeed. As someone who lived through the turmoil in consciousness of the 1960's, I would advise people to get ready for "interesting times." Such periods can be very, very challenging, even for those not directly involved.
First, part 1 is on the way. I had some last minute changes that delayed posting.
I am going to do some more charts in the coming months to see how things look. Next month, 2012 & the US. The US tends to be a bellwether nation, or something. If the US chart looks good, that will be a good sign.

I don´t think the U.S. will melt down either. It was said in the 1900´s that the U.S. was going to melt down.
I think that the U.S. has a very bright and positive future ahead. If you prefer , perhaps we should call this current period........the Hot War.
