Great playing! I saw Blues do a clinic playing aplaid Yamaha guitar. Was that also a signature axe?Anyway great tone and way to shred dude!

@spider62able The guitar in this vid is the only signature that was produced by Yamaha for sale to the public. Saraceno had a couple of other plaid Yamaha's which were custom 'one-offs' made just for him. They had custom paint jobs which were done by a guy called Pedro Cruz (who also painted his red plaid Ibanez) and had plaid all over the body (the production model Yamaha only has plaid on the front)

Nope, it was only made for a short while and they are very hard to find! It took me years of regularly searching on ebay before I finally found one.

Nickstermc, I have a really big ask to you - can you tell me, how did you learn to play guitar, what scales were you learning first? I'm playing about guitar about two years, but I'm not satisfied with my playing at all. Any help? :)

I took lessons when I was younger. Early on I just mucked about learning my favourite guitar licks. I didn't learn theory till much later on. However, learning my fave licks early on kept it fresh for me and meant that I stuck with the guitar and didn't ever feel like chucking it in. For scales start with the basic major scale. Then look at how you alter that scale to get all the musical modes...mixolydian/lydian etc That was one of the biggest breakthrough's for me.
