  • Dude that sounds AWESOME...... i can here the bass... Its even shaking my room just buy playing this.....

  • m8 where did you get that lazer you use...?

  • continued...

What we did was plug the mixer to the sub then daisy chain up to the thump - having it so that only the high and mids came through the thumps and all the bass throught the subs! 1.8KW in total! nice vid.

  • i did a wedding gig friday night with 2 of these running along side 2 mackie SW1501 acitve subs and they just sounded fierce the bride and groom and almost all of the guests commented on how good they were. Even at high levels the clarity of these speakers is just incredible. would rate them 10/10.

  • Good shit... I bet your neighbors love you!!! LOL!!!

  • how many people u think this can handle

  • 150 people. and u might need a subwoofer as these things pump out way too much bass lmao.

  • mix50 are good but 100's r better

  • anyone else noticed what looks like a stuffed cat on top of the speaker?? ?:L

  • i'm guessing your parents werent home. if you were my kid, id beat your ass.. lol naw but how do you like those speakers? i'm thinking about getting them

  • Tunes banging and annoying the old neighbours?haha.cops not been called yet?lol

  • someone who has these reply how loud do they get can they support a wedding for about 200-300 people?

  • I just bought them... the answer is NO unless you have 4. They do sound absolutely amazing though. Its mackie, what do you expect?

  • no they wont, i have them. you need a decent subwoofer, and kill the bass to the mackies.... will do the job.

  • @akakilla1 these speakers peak to easy you wouldn't want to go over 50-60 people with these speakers

  • about 4 will do the job for 200-300 people. make sure you use good judgment on your speaker placement, and they should handle fine.

if you're playing a lot of music with heavy bass, i'd recommend getting a Tapco TH-18s to relieve some of the stress off of the TH-15a's. i'm not sure if the Tapco version of the TH-18s is still in production, but i know Mackie makes a version of the TH-18s as well.

  • @NickyVeee I was running a pair of these hooked up to a pair of sw1501 active subs for wedding with 300 people. sounded great :)

  • @tobykuhnert1 good to hear! i use two of these and a Mackie TH-18s for my band and for mobile dj'ing as well. the set up provides good power. i would like to have another pair of thumps so i can provide better audience coverage and eliminate the dead zones in halls. but we can't always get what we want i suppose. glad to hear your set up is working great though. i really do love these speakers.

  • Tapco are great. Essentially just mackie's manufactured in a different country to cut costs.

  • Dude thanks for the video, How loud do the get?

  • Tapco is actually a very good speaker. they are made by Mackie manufacture. They just made them about a year ago and it 's purpose was for people who cant afford Mackie could still buy Tapco which is made by the same company. its like Acura if you cant afford it you'll most likly to buy Honda...

  • sniff my balls ya, ya daft yank

  • tapcos suck man!!

they have a really poor low end frequncy handling

    KRK are the way

  • KRK. Hahah NO.

  • sniff my gooch

  • Wow, your a sick fuck with nothing better to do. Btw KRK are a division of LOUD technologies witch Mackie and tapco are apart of, So saying tapco sucks is like saying Mackie sucks. Wich would make you sound like a complete Fucking idiot because they have active speakers that are second to none. Do your reasearch and get a fucking life.

  • KRK make studio monitors. These are PA speakers.

    Completely different game.

  • thanks for this. i've been considering buying these for awhile.

  • i got a set of these speakers bout a 2 month ago and i love em :D the sound is just crystal clear and the bass is just WOW :O

    Defo my best investment

  • Great to hear bro ;)

  • Same here! Alot of people are saying they suck... They really don't... I used to rent jbl eons, witch are sick but i find the thumps have better highs.

  • hi just wondering what size of hall you could use these for and how many people?

    Thanks!

  • whats the song?

  • the song name is eve and gwen steffany blow ya mind or u want the name of the second song?

  • nahh it was just the first

    thanks ;)

  • I have heard so much things about these speakers. It's a Mackie in Disguised & without the Price Tag... Cool Vid.

  • I have heard so much things about these speakers. Its a Mackie in Disguised without the Price Tag.... Cool Vid.

  • dude were did you get the speaker but your video is so so so cool

  • Just do a google search of tapco thump and youll find ebays and retailers.

  • ebay bro. got mine for 250 bucks

  • same... audiosavings rocks

  • can't believe there's no bass cab awesome gonna get these

  • hey man great vid, tell me, is there a lot of distortion in the bass when it is turned up all the way?

  • The closest best thing to mackie loud clean crispy highs and it bumps hard about to get those 15" thumps with tapco 69"18 subs

  • I just ordered 2 of them

  • me 2.

i just got mine in, im so pleased with them. and they were dirt cheap 2.

  • do you hav to plug in each speaker separately to the mains cuz they're ACTIVE speakers...?

  • Whats you question? you have to plug into main output on your mixer of course if thats the answer to you question. Think for yourself, if you turn the speakers on and they arent pluggedinto any signal, what do you think will happen? nothing will cause they are only getting power and no signal

  • nah... i meant do you need to plug each speaker to ur house power mains... cuz for passive speakers u connect them through da powered amplifier then through the mixer then into the speaker...and for an active speaker such as ur Tapco Thump speakers u dont need a powered amplifier cuz the speaker is already amplified... so what im tryin to say is that do u have to connect each speaker separately into ur house power mains cuz obviously the speaker cant power itself...without electricity.......

  • dude u plug in the tapco to the wall. and u plug them into the mixer.

    boom

  • Soz... for the complication... thanx dude...

  • itz cool dood

  • yes you do, each speaker needs to be plugged into the wall, there is a seperate amplifier for each speaker, and they all need power, so if you have 30 active speakers, you need 30 power outlets.

  • i get it now, thanx...

  • whattttttttttttttttttttttttttt!

  • The speakers have their own amps, so you need a wall outlet for each one, then you need a signal wire for each one.

  • How many watt's and also is that turned up all the way?

    XX

  • look at the website, and no its not turned up all the way

  • what are the songs called?

  • first one is Let me blow your mind- Gwen stefani/EVE

second is Da funk- Daft punk

  • do they have holes for tri pods?

  • Yes

  • i've got a pair of Tapco 6915's and if they're anything to go buy these are seriously good speakers!

    GO TAPCO! :]] lol

  • i love those speakers

how much where they and where did you get your lights from

  • The speakers are $399.99 CAD, it also says in my description

The light was like 40 bucks from tom lee in canada

  • Ahh Yeah!!! Daft Punk!!! How ya liking the speakers?!!

  • They work great, i got my first gig with some grade 6's and 7's for an hour and a half. There was 150 of them learning hiphop moves :S but the instructor was hot!! and she was bending over and dancing in front of the setup ;) I also did a thing at a school for a stop motion video presentation that the school did. The build quality solid and the sound even more. I love them. with super high quality music you cna push these to the bitter edge.

  • Thanks fo vid! It was nice review:)

  • there has been better reviews. they are just wonderful

  • interesting lol
