  • i literally cried soo much after this scene bloody amazing thats all i got to say

  • good scene =) chan weng yan looks so cool !!

  • Well... It's just a movie, nothing else...

  • ahaha exactly.

  • no man, infernal affairs is more than a movie

  • just like most Hong Kong cop flicks, the power of triad in this movie has been exaggerated beyond belief. Throwing such a high ranking official of the police force off a 50 floor building in broad daylight? A u kidding me? If happened in real life, it would constitute a blatant attack against the police force and open declaration of war on Hong Kong government, which at that time had Beijing government behind its back.

  • Nither government would tolerate such naked display of criminal power which can and will be considered a political attack against Beijing by PRC. Any perpetrator of such high profile would be hunted down and sentenced to life imprisonment at the very least. That's why it's improbable that a shrewd mob boss would be stupid enough to order such a hit.

  • Yup, when the Hong Kong SAR government strikes back and rein in those PLA (People's Liberation Army) troops, the Hong Kong triads who participated in the attack will be totally finished.

  • None of the police officers knew he was there. He just went there to meet the undercover agent that only he knew about. Also, the triad and police were already at war. That was the whole point of a spy in the triad for the police and a spy in the police force for the triad.

  • Shut up you twat, first it was not a 50 story floor, if you pay close atention the building is barely 10 stories high, and a police cheif who goes walk abouts in the middle of the day to speak to his mole who has infultrated a very powerful traid gang, very possible, and has been done befor in hong kong, so shut your face yea ?

  • i need to know what music is called wen tony leung's character is following andy lau from the cinema.Think the music is also appering during the trailer.

  • Internal Affairs is the ORIGINAL

  • Fiona Fung - Goodbye Policeman

  • I love the part in this where the ex wife says that the girl is a year younger than she is cause its his child, very clever and adds to our emotional sorrow for him.

  • Infernal Affairs is really a masterpiece.

The Departed is good, it's the classic "perfect" film, but doesn't add anything to the original. It could be a great movie if you don't know Infernal Affairs. IMO.

  • best good hong kong movie

  • sorry 'inFernal affairs'....misspelling my bad

  • French translation!

Excellent, at least French people have the artistic perception and IQ to appreciate this masterpiece!

  • a very good film indeed.

  • wheres gillian chung here?

    i dont see her..

  • I seriously like this version alot more than The Departed ^^

  • i watched dis movie so many times and everytime it comes to dis part, it makes me cry..... im just so amazed by the story.....

  • OH MY GOD ! I love you so much dude... You just save my kidz from getting raped if i don't find out this music... hahaha...

    Thanks you very much !

  • haha np i was looking for this music for some time too

  • yeah the song is cool, but isn't that just the mini version. Any one have the full version?

  • I've been looking for this song for a very, very long time...

  • i was amuse and shocked..in this part.. a lot of emotions show by tony leong. I am shocked because not expect this police will die like this, and amuse on how this scene are made. The song..the smooth captured..its totally awesome..i have tears in this part.

  • Both movies are pretty good, or they wouldnt be winning awards from right to left in their own region. I dont think one film is better than the other, it's all matter of personal opinions and cultural differences, since they are aiming at different cultures.

  • Don't judge movies by their awards, learn to form opinion of your own instead.

The American version completely destroyed the plot and the characters, while the HK original film is a masterpiece. It's all about personal struggle combined with philosophical questions, which explain a lot about the characters. "Departed" failed on all levels -- except that of the insane violence, with no rhyme or reason.

  • Wow, thats exactly how i feel bout this and the Departed. The only reason it got an oscar is because Scorsese had been snubbed countless times by the Academy (for GoodFellas, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Casino etc) for his best films so they had to give him a best director award, for his weakest crime thriller yet. But people forget that IA is still the Asian film with the highest number of Awards in total. Departed only won some Oscars...

  • owsome!!! perfect movie!

  • Me and my friend both though they were both great in their own ways. I was doing a sememster abroad when "The Departed" opened and man was it nice to see a piece of home! So I'm probabally biased! ;-)

  • It's called Goodbye Policeman, you could get it from the soundtrack.. very beautiful piece! So touching...

  • The song is actually called Farewell...Officer and i came across the whole thing at allofmp3 . com by entering Infernal Affairs in the search.

  • Can you give me a link?

  • oh for fuckssake because Internal Affairs is the ORIGINAL!!! get it right mate.

Sorry but the whole film just wouldn't work if it was anywhere else other than Hong Kong...pffft the departed...pffft...whatever

  • love that music

  • Infernal Affairs is one of the best movies, its better than that plagirised crap of a film called The Departed. I think this is great and very emotional peice of music, it nearly made me cry, I said nearly. This is my first post

  • Guys, this movie is better then "The Departed"! Emotionally it is a king compared to "The Departed".

  • Great piece that carried the emotion of that scene better than in The Departed.

  • It's called "Goodbye Policman".

  • It's called Cai-Qin, i believe you can download it from the infernalaffairs official website

  • Cai Qin is just the singer; she has sung multiple songs for this movie: also the song in the audio-shop is hers.
