Whom ever finished this song, good job. Playing over John demo and completing it by adding another verse. Very nice job.  If Paul was playing bass he would have created some great bass line. Drummer is not Ringo. Nice try. Cannot fool me.

Well, I learned something from this. I didn't know that Lennon-McCartney penned this one. Billy J. Kramer nailed this song dead on...I like his version much better than this. But somewhere along the line I missed who wrote this. Another song that Paul wrote that I think kicks ass is Peter and Gordon's "I go to pieces"...with that beautiful 12-string guitar work throughout. I was only 10 in '64, but ohhh...the music that was all over the airwaves during that time was unlike anything since. joel

@terriblita308 Thank you, yes...I was laboring under that misconception for 40yrs. I thought for sure that Paul wrote it. Was there some other Peter and Gordon song that Paul McCartney wrote? I just seem to remember that he wrote it as a favor to either Peter or Gordon's sister that was an actress that Paul was going out with for a time? Maybe my memory is all wrong on that.

He turned down top dollar on the Ed Sullivan Show for low dollar with the agreement the Fab 4 would be on his show 3 weeks in a row giving them maximum exposure in the USA. Brian was a marketing genius. RIP
