  • What is legal is not always moral, and what is moral is not always legal. Good for him for doing what is right!

  • wow this is so utterly sick on the part of the law good for this guy

  • So instead of feeding the homeless, they should commit crimes to eat? Many are mentally ill, and are afraid of the gov't, and won't apply for assistance.

  • Only cops that have been brain washed will enforce laws that are unjust.

  • How about NOT FEEDING the people enforcing such inhumane cruelty. Maybe they would have a better understanding of what it feels like to go hungry and to not be able to go to the doctor when they begin feeling sick and weak due to no health care, then to not have a place to rest when fatigued due to no home.

  • You put the amazing atheist in the tags? Cynical move Sir but it's effective to get the word out, Oh and the law in Orlando sucks

  • Arrogant oppression, rampant injustice, and no compassion for the suffering of the weak. Just like Sodom and Gomorrah, right before the hour of their destruction. I hope there is no God in Heaven because, if there's One, America will soon meet the same fate. May God have mercy of this morally blind country....

  • The cops were doing something similar to what the nazis did which is "Just following orders"

  • What makes me even more sick is that the poll taken at the end was probably 50/50

  • Orlando probably believes that feeding the homeless is breeding the homeless. Sort of like feeding rats being against the law. Oh well, you pay your property taxes, so this is what you wanted, isn't it?

  • It's like every time I stray away from real news into the playground of news (E3) focusing on distractions and come back to this shit it just gets worse and worse...

  • When the law goes against ethical, against what is considered "good".. it´s time for CIVIL DISOBIDIENCE

  • GET MAD! FUCK THIS BULLSHIT, KILL THE ACLU, IT IS ILLEGAL TO DO SOMETHING SO GOOD AS FEEDING STARVING PEOPLE? FUCK CORPERATE AMERICA! FUCK THE LAWS THAT SERVE TO PUT MONEY INTO THE HANDS OF THE STATE! AND FUCK THE POLICE WHO NEVER SERVE NOR PROTECT BUT ONLY COLLECT FOR THE STATE!

  • florida, this is what you get for voting Rick Scott

  • To protect and serve (and keep homeless people from getting fed).

  • it's a well known fact that drug dealers and liquor stores accept bologna sandwiches as payment. They were feeding alright, feeding a nasty habit. I'm glad our police are handling such important issues....

  • And here they complain the jails are too full. Gee, wonder why that could be. Go to jail for weed, feeding the homeless, dancing in a public place, etc. Hardened criminals I tell you! And here bankers can destroy the economy and rather than end up in jail they get more money.

  • What happened to protect and serve?

  • thats some bull crap

  • The United States needs to get bomb

  • IF YOU ARE A POLITICIAN CROOK OR A WHITE COLLAR CRIMINAL, YOU GET A "GET OUT OF JAIL CARD", BUT IF YOU BEHAVE HUMAN, AND WANT TO HELP HUMANS, YOU ARE A CRIMINAL.. WELL DONE AMERICA!!

  • SAY HELLO TO THE NEW WORLD ORDER!!1

  • Let me get this straight. Feeding (more than 25) homeless people is a criminal act and can land you in jail, but causing a traffic accident and injuries while under the influance of alcohol will only get you a ticket? I guess if this guy had a catering truck and fed thousands of homeless daily, he'd get life without parole while child molestors were set free. Tells a lot about hot screwed up the police dept's. priorities are!

  • @Timbrock1000

You want to feed the homeless, go volunteer at a shelter. Nobody should be allowed to distribute food to the general public without a proper license and permit. What if some wacko decides to poison a bunch of homeless people, or if his food was just poorly prepared and makes people sick?

  • @logik316 there are a lot of wackos keeping people homeless, hungry and poisoning everybody´s food...

  • nazi america thiers all your proof

  • Fuck Orlando with a large ban hammer.

  • fuck america

  • there are not currently on the entirety of the internet enough facepalms to cover this.

  • USA= Game Over

  • Goddamn Activist, don't they know you're not supposed to keep people from dieing of starvation!? GOSH! You're so stupid!

  • kk popo

  • Feeding the homeless is honorable. The cops saying they were just doing their job is a bunch of bull. It is like a soldier being charged for a war crime and saying I was just following my orders. Both are a policing unit & the "Just following orders" doesnt fly in federal court. I know he didnt go to fed court. But I would take it there. I would go out everyday & do it. I have been arrested for very simular events & continue to do them. 5/5 for the guy feeding them.

  • WOW!, feeding people is now against the law in parts of America?.

    My country makes me proud.

  • what about bombs and food

  • americans = retarded

  • @amatorie just some of them

  • Makes sense to me. It can not be taxed. How are the blood sucking bureaucrats supposed to make any money on "charity" and goodwill? Oh, yes they need to make more things illegal so they can tax people like Eric. Soon he will be on probation for being a habitual offender of feeding the homeless. He will have to pay probation for the rest of his life..... Now, that is one hell of a racket! Will we need "papers" to scratch my own ass in the future? They are already trying carbon tax it. Assholes.

  • this is sad more then that it is sick usa? try ussr or iraq or iran are forefathers will roll in there graves if ever thay know this makes me sick even more so that this is not the first time nor will it be the last p.s my heart go's out to the homeless

  • LMAO, sillyvization.

  • This is one reason why there are homeless people in the first place. So many govt. and corporate entities make arbitrary laws against poor people.

They never said why the law bans feeding over 25 people. How did they arrive at that number? If they don't like homeless people gathering in large groups, they should work to end homelessness, not arrest people trying to help out.

  • Yes!

  • This is what taxpayer's money goes to ?

  • It's a PYRAMID system & they need homeless & very poor at the base levels, otherwise there would not be a preoccupation of struggling at the next levels.

The recent economic crisis was engineered to reduce assistance from the middle levels towards the poor, or to create more volume at base of pyramid

This system is supported by the PlutoCRACY at the upper levels, but the top is an Oligarchy

THIS OLIGARCHY IS MADE UP OF THE MOST RUTHLESS CRIMINALLY INSANE MURDERING TWO FACED SCUM THAT EXIST !

  • I'm starting a group called Bombs Not Food in protest.

  • Fuck you. EARTH KILLER!

  • His only crime was embarrassing the worthless politicians!

  • so they want the homeless to starve?

  • More like, go away.

  • @itsthatsebguy93

Actually, for the past 100 years there's no record of anybody starving to death in the United States due to being poor. No homeless people are going to die just because these loony activists aren't allowed to feed them.

  • Wow, I've heard of this law taking effect but never saw it enforced. That's Capitalism for you, don't help the underpriveleged who are victims of the system, and the system just wants us to ignore them because they dont have a home or income to tax. Greatest country in the world my ass.

  • What a scum! How he dares to feed that animals.

  • WTF really, so the gov don't feed them now we cant feed them ether really? what is the world coming to good job 4 fighting the power fuck the law hold the truth and real justice b4 u hold the law keep fighting the good fight!!! PEACE!!

  • Under cover cops monitoring homeless feeding? So if half the cops are under cover busting pot, another half under cover busting homeless feeding do-gooders, then that actually must be good news.

I guess what this means is that there's no crime in Orlando! Good job guys!

  • What a disgusting freak. How dare he feed the homeless. Another good reason we should have phone calls monitored by the defense forces. We need to stop these do gooders before they even get started. now we will probably have a lot more people further encouraged to do good humanitarian deeds towards other so called humans.

Dont they have satellites specifically designed to monitor this antisocial behaviour?

the world is losing its mind. How dare they feed poor people. Its a disgrace!

  • It's illegal to feed the hungry. it's also illegal NOT to stuff money down the throats of perfectly healthy, parasitic bankers and their corporate associates. Oh say can you see, by the dawns early light, the sheer fucking travesty of this morally bankrupt nation of finks, fundamentalists and pigs.

  • This is hilariously dumb. "simply enforcing the laws" lol SOUNDS LIKE ATTITUDES ON... SLAVERY?

  • Wow....a limit on how many homless people you can feed. Thats just disgusting.

  • permits were required for the activity but still the crime was bull shit. that youngster is an inspiration.

  • Jesus was a criminal! >:O

  • @sw33tb0y77 what happend to the constitution and the bill of rights??? i guess we are in nazi gemany

  • this seems like it belongs in the "Onion News"

  • My question isn't really about them doing this but rather WHY there is an ordinance against feeding more than 25 people without a permit? What possible negative consequence could result from feeding more than 25 people? There are rules that prevent too large of a group from gathering in one place so it can't be about crowding... so what is the reason for this rule/law/ordinance? That's the real question to ask.

  • You're kidding me! Cops were undercover for this? Is Orlando that crime free??

  • You call this America? What happened?

  • Good thing that the system oppresses this goofy looking fella. He is actively hindering survival of the fittest, therefore nature itself, with his "humanitarian" communist sympathies.

  • omfg! damn that peace bringer! throw him in jail toss away the key, then transfer him to a life sentance of prison so he can be sodimised in the name of god!

  • City of Orlando: Mayor Buddy Dyer, his office phone number is: four oh seven, two four six, twenty eight fourty two

  • WTF!!! Why is this happening?!?!?

  • A law to ban feeding starving people?? WOW . How long before they pull the trick Rudolph Julianni thing and kill the homeless off the streets?? Oh wiat. The news didnt report that so I must be lying. God save them all.

  • It'd be one thing if they simply banned it for specific contexts-- i.e., feeding homeless people who were blocking traffic, for example. But a blanket ban? Being applied against a dude feeding someone at a PARK?

I'm not a big fan of the homeless, but even bleeding hearts have rights :)

  • This is absurd. Unconstitutional is the correct word for this. "can't feed the homeless..." Being homeless is a status not a crime. If he wants to feed the masses, let him do so.

What's criminal about giving to the needy? Absolute stupidity.

  • This is a damn disgrace.

  • what is the purpose of this ordinance?

  • Wow.. just wow. This is the law going more retarded then its been in a while. And WHAT is the reason why you cant feed homeless people? Are they hoping they'll die from starvation so that they wont have to employ them?

  • Are you kidding me?!?!? they actually spent money on putting officers undercover to be able to catch him feeding the homeless?!?!?!

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!!

and why is feeding the homeless illegal to begin with??

  • I agree...undercover cops to watch a guy feeding the homeless? Are there not any more judicious use of public funds to provide for the security of the citizens?

  • that's retarded

  • So... why is this illegal?

  • Can't feed birds why not take one step farther to ban the homeless?

  • yeah....because it's not like birds and fellow human beings are two different things under our Constitution. :/

  • i got your message Kid. Keep that in your closest ignoramus I don't want to know bout you mother's mental problem get lost kid. i don't have time for ignorance. Now go take care of your mental mother igoramus

  • SOme of what you said made since. IF you ignore your massive use of incorrect syntax. But most of it is rather stupid. I once met someone like you. HE seemed nice enough, but when i talked to him, he started spouting gibberish that almost mirrors your own. Tell me sir, madame, or thing, are you the parrot of a nLSD Zombie?

  • @Sqirril "Can't feed birds why not take one step farther to ban the homeless?"

Are you serious? Comparing Human's with birds. I bet you don't even understand why there is a ban on feeding birds. How many Human's do you see shitting on roofs, floors and cars??

Its inhumane to allow an homeless person to starve. You are either immoral or an internet troll.

  • I would also like to know why??????

  • @XxPnuemaxX

Because, frankly, attracting too many homeless people creates a nuisance. After eating and drinking they all have to go to the bathroom somewhere, don't they? They'll piss and shit all over the parks and subway stations. Not to mention the aggressive and rude panhandlers, who unfortunately end up coming into town along with the more decent ones.

  • idiot hes a noob!

  • Dont feed the bears lol

But seriously giving people food should not be illegal; but the squatters should be thrown out.

  • well its official im gettin the fuck out of this country lol

  • How fucked up is this country?! Seriously? Arrested for feeding the fucking homeless? If this causes so much troube, why do we have food drives? Why do colleges do donations and go out on group projects such as feeding the homeless? Is that illegal too? Listen up USA, we're in a fucking recession! We don't need to be arresting people who are being good samaritans!!!! We need to arrest people who are breaking the law!

  • "possibly had other option..." are you stupid or did you not watch the video? He DIDN'T have another option, because the laws didn't create one.

Unjust laws create just as much disorder as lawlessness. THIS was an unjust law.

  • This is a major contributing factors that will eventually lead to the destruction of Order. Little dumb kids society encourage them to open their mouth and oppose authority. Kid must listen to their Superiors other wise these rebels when they grow will go against government and ever establishment of Civilization. Kids must be silenced. Kid shut your mouth.

  • no, if you know anything, about martin luther king or gandhi or anyone else, they believe rebellion is neccesary against unjust laws, this fits into that category. If I created a law that said everyone named staut34 on their youtube account shall be killed, I am 100% sure you wouldnt just bow down and follow it dumbass, shut your fucking mouth if you dont have anything good to say, or smart to say, people like you make youtube commentary horrible.

  • What do we have here (Kid Rebel) Your mother made a mistake by procreating you. do you know what I do to mistakes. I destroy them.

  • A rebel isn't neccesarily bad. So from your reasoning I could kill your father in a country that allows murder and you would be perfectly fine with that, not at all trying to rebel vs. that law. Yeah I guess my mother did make a mistake for making me, just like martin luther king Jr's father made a mistake, Gandhi made a mistake, and all the famous people who made a difference in this country. Not some blind follower of laws in this country like you.

  • Mankind started in the Caves The Caves represent ignorance. Mankind came out the caves to see the light. The Light represent enlightment and knowledge etc. I think that was one of Plato or Aristotle quotes I just mess up; I am not perfect neither are men however let us continue. Those who are out the caves must continue to gain light and not go back into the Caves You are going back to the Caves instead of accepting the Light. I am not in a Cave but you are and also you got to get of the Cave

  • LOL stuat, are you mentality disabled? or just typing from an insane asylum. GET OFF THE INTERNET NOOB!

  • Do you want to be the First Cave Monkey I chase right back to your Cave, Cave boy your people at the End will once again be back in the Caves where you all belong and not even Satan will be able to help your people out the caves. Your future Cave monkey. I hope you prepared for you Caves.

  • LOL! stuat34 you are making an ASS out of yourself. It's fucking hilarious!!!! Satan? Cave monkeys? wtf is a cave monkey? Are you retarded? Seriously everyone is now laughing at all the wonderful lulz you are supplying you dumbass! LMFAO! Idiots like you shouldn't go online to make fools of yourself!

  • ok....so to be technical, what he did was against the law, but the law is unconstitutional and against a fuckload of morals that most people try to uphold. its ridiculous, and i doubt he was trying to conceal his identity. thats just fucked.

  • fucked up laws! unbelievable

  • If the government cannot do it, let the people do it.

  • zomg he just got thrown in jail for doing a good deed!

  • Let's not forget that Christ was declared a criminal and a heretic in His time.

  • wow, what an accomplishment, I guess there are no real criminals to catch anymore. FUCK POLICE, THEY ARREST PEOPLE WHO TRY AND HELP THE COMMUNITY WHILE RAPISTS AND MURDERERS ARE ON THE LOOSE!!! INSTEAD OF TRYING TO CATCH THEM, THEY ARREST PEOPLE WHO FEED THE HOMELESS AND PUT THEM IN JAIL WITH REAL CRIMINALS.

I SHOULDN'T NEED A GOD DAMN PERMIT TO BE COMPASSIONATE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE!!!

  • This illustrates why we need vigilantes and militias instead of police. Militias and vigilantes are of the People (who are Nation), NOT the state and its legions. That's not to say that there are no Go0d Centurions anymore. There are. They just happen to be the exception to these who smear the reputations of the rest with the s0ot of inglorious disgrace.

  • Well said, but judges tend to look more compassionate on the criminal than the one being abused and victimized. And police etc often abuse their job to do things like arresting people for doing good deeds just because they have a huge hunger for power because they were too pussy in the past to get it on their own without being a cop, its a job where most people who are cops are like this, they can still do good as a cop like this, but occasionally they will screw up like this incident.

  • This country has obviously forgotten that most of thehomless are heroes who bravely fought for this country.

  • well half of them are but the other half lost there money because they were drug addicts. I dont think you should feed homeless drug addicts. They need to learn what is really important to surive and what is not.

  • Well that is why you never give money to the homeless, food or a beverage however is always fine. Most of them are bums not because they cant find work but choose to be that way because they are lazy and etc. They like their life, nothing wrong with being a bum though, its just their type of lifestyle, im lazy too. So I am not criticizing them, just saying they arent really completely innocent here.

  • But some of them aren't lazy and like their lifestyle. Some are probably unemployed because of the economy right now. Wouldn't you feel bad if you saw a homeless person that was unemployed and didn't choose his type of lifestyle?

  • perhaps if he didn't choose the lifestyle

  • Im not suprised at all. Our government has compromised its morals long enuff. This law is unconstitutional and unbiblical. And we still wonder why God has abandonned mankind?

  • homeless poeple want food....?? they all ways hit me up for cigerettes..............

  • Fuck those fascist police and that ordinance. What a cruel, heartless way of getting rid of homeless people in your city, Orlando. Starve them out??? Sounds like some bullshit cooked up by the right-wing nutjobs that live in the south.

  • Florida is MESSED up!

  • WTF Orlando is corrupt! :(

  • Government is an enemy of God. We don't need cops that just follow orders. We need nationalist militias and vigilantes to secure justice and true saints to share mercy. These are the people who REALLY help others. The state is possessed by Satan.

  • Or just Orlando

  • This is only one example in one region. The world, not only one city or country, is infested with this kind of corruption and injustice.

  • And I most certainly agree.

  • Americaaaaa Fuck Yeaaaaaah!!

  • Seems like the Government really doesn't want to help people. Not suprising.....

  • It's not April yet.

  • wow, 25 is a pretty random number

  • "They were simply enforcing the laws". What the fuck kinda stupid people is this? Okay, think about this. If you're a cop and it says in the law that if you see a man spit on the sidewalk you are to hit him as hard as you can with your baton. Just because there's a law doesn't mean it's right. It's up to the people and the people who protect the law to protest shit that is obvious stupidity. It's a free fucking country! If I wanna use a million dollars feeding kittens on the street, I WILL!

  • WTF? this cant be serious. i cant even wave my flag in honor anymore because of this kinda bullshit going on

  • Well, now I'm yet more disgusted by this country then ever. THAT'S DAMN BULLCARP!

  • damn it to hell i wanna go fishin now for that dadburn bullcarp out thar. lol sorry im a jackass

  • wow really? Cops are just pussies and are to scared to face drug dealers, gangsters..... etc, so they decide to go after people that aren't doing anything wrong. This country is going to shit with so many useless laws.

  • Fuck that bullshit law.

When the law criminalizes human solidarity, it is invalid and fit only to be broken.

(So-called "intellectual property" laws do the same thing. Please never say "intellectual property" without scare quotes; it's a propaganda term that conflates several disparate laws under one umbrella for easier dissemination and brainwashing. Ditto "piracy"; sharing != plunder on the high seas. They taught us this in kindergarten.)

  • Obviously you have never produced anything that could be considered IP, please don't try to speak with authority about concepts you do not understand.

  • But I have the right to feed the homeless or anyone I want to. If I want to give free food out to people why wouldn't they allow me to do it?

  • Comment removed

  • why should you need a permit to be a good person.

  • Comment removed

  • because paperwork is fucking pointless dumbass, you shouldnt need to pay and fill out a paper to just feed the homeless

  • Comment removed

  • really? then why when they knew he wasnt having a party did they arrest him? They said they took "stew as evidence" so obviously they new people werent partying. "Oh yeah lets all get wasted and have a stew party" yeah that makes sense.

  • mister miggle, have you ever heard of freedom of assembly. You know we put that in the constitution because we fought and died for it because british tyrants wouldn't give it to us. Oh wait I bet you still thought it was necessary to get a permit to show compassion. HE SHOULD BE GIVEN A FUCKING MEDAL FOR FEEDING THAT MANY HOMELESS AT ONCE!!!

  • Comment removed

  • because he is a martyer and is willing to risk judgement legally, and soup kitches arent, and just because there are soup kitchens doesnt mean every bum HAS to go there, they may not even know about it or it may be too far away. This isnt interpretation of a law, people know what happened and simple fact is this dude was arrested purely for feeding the homeless and they just wanted to apply it to their little stupid law even though they knew it was an exception. Fuck that.

  • actually I just watch the video again. I completely missed it being homeless person specific. I could defend the law if it wasn't but nope can't really agree with that.

  • That's your ego talking.

  • stupide laws,this is crazy!!helping is a crime now fuck u government@!

  • oooh my god. people helping each other what is this world coming to! he should be jailed for life. if we keep helping each other what will come next world peace. oh god say it ain't so.

  • wow, this is horrible. Waste of tax payer money if you ask me.

  • ...how?

  • An undercover task force requires money and authorization. This cost us a bi of money, trust me.

  • i don't remember what I said, haha. :0

  • Eric "oink" Martinez?

  • He should get arrested for that nosering HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

  • What the fuck? Is the GOVERNMENT FUCKING RETARD? THOSE ASSHOLES THREW A GUY IN FUCKING JAIL FOR HELPING HOMELESS PEOPLE SURVIVE! HOW THE FUCK ELSE ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO GET FOOD? FIND MONEY AND BUY A HOUSE? FUCKING SELFISH GOVERNMENT.

  • this is a mixture of big liberal government and conservative heartlessness (and of course cops are conservative)

  • This shit is sick.

Be a decent human being, get thrown in a rape room.

    Wake up.

    Get prepared.

  • Rich tourists don't wan't to feel guilty seeing them while they play.

  • make sure you go the website mentioned at the end and cast your vote, we don't want these bullshit laws around, help fight for justice.

  • take the power back.bro & sis...RATM

  • wow. people try to do the right thing by helping those in need, and they get thrown into jail? whats the world coming to?

  • damn I fucking HATE government, authority and pig cops with a passion!

  • Its illegal because the Florida Government wants them to die..duhhhh

  • That's a dumbass law. O.o

  • Why would he need a permit to feed fellow human beings?

    Could it be the money.?

  • No this is about keeping the parks open to everybody. Visit a park in San Francisco and you'll see what I mean.

  • Trying to criminalise LOVE. for our brothers and sisters.
