For example. I have "SPRAY" and "DRILL" (2 x tools). "SPRAY" is second from left, "DRILL" is first from left. How do I move them to the "active tool" window?

SPACE+O,P,Q,A nothing special happens - the hero jumps, throws bricks etc. even with "SPACE" being hold.

Oh! Sorry! Try ENTER + O or P for move tools in your inventory and SPACE for use it!

P.S. You must use tools in the special place!

Damn! I finished the whole game back in 1990 without knowing this! Of course every time I went to jail it was game over for me. Why didn't you tell me back then?? ;D

In the SHOP there were no problems.

"SPACE" + "O,P,Q,A" and that's it.

The problem is with changing the things during the gameplay. I've seen that people changed "active" tools anywhere. Now my problem is that when I hold "SPACE" and "O,P,Q,A" anywhere out of the shop, the hero continues to jump, crouch etc, but doesn't change the "active" tool.

When I hold the "SPACE" + "Q,A,P,O" inside of the "special place" it doesn't move any tool, but uses the "active" tool just like I press "SPACE".

In the SHOP:

Press and hold SPACEBAR and move the cursor with "O","P","Q","A", choose needed tool, then release.

How to use TOOLS?

Go to the special point. Hold SPACEBAR and move tools in your inventory with "O", and "P",choose needed tool, then press ENTER.
