  • What kind of record player do you have?

  • Sounds like Little Rascals music.

  • Its sung in english because of the translation difficulity. same as some of the european rocakabilly singers, the music is setup for english, hense its sung in engish and done VERY well.

  • Stupidly enough, most of rock historians in Japan don't regard tunes like this as ROCK. They think the real Japanese "Rock" began in 1970 after the GS(Group Sounds) boom was over. Probably later years many of Japanese rockers from 50's-60's turned their directions to Kayoukyoku or Enka......

  • Download the audio from this clip at soundnabber doht cohm.

  • A great song, no matter who sings

  • I'm just a little confused..

    was this recorded in Japan..

or is this a Japanese girl who came to America and sang rock and roll..

Just curious because it makes me wonder why is she singing in English?

    Cool song!!..

  • Gorgeous gal.....such pretty eyes ^_^

  • is this one of the first Japanese rockers.

wow, how crazy it comes all the way from Mississippi to japan so fast.

  • Thank you.

Chiemi Eri / ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK(1955) is the fastest rockers.
