Hi i have a flip camera my self an it is good for taking other angles it is also handy because its hd so it looks decent. if u have a mane hd camera and want to shoot diffirent angles i recomend it so that when u uploa a hd video its not got some hd parts and some not hd parts. But i would recomend the fuji finepix xp 20 (or 10) becausethey are water proof and stuf and good quality they caust about £180 i think. I got mines on sale for 90 pounds

@MsHighschooler1 Nope. The video resolution is only 720p.It has no SD card port for extra capacity, and there is no still shot capability. No still pictures. There is also no flash or low light capability, and there are many problems with the battery. Get the Panasonic HM- TA1, those are more expensive, but they're much better.

The 4GB said it takes one hour video. Does that mean it only takes one hour of video or does it mean it it only stores 1 hour? If I take 1 hour of video and upload it to YouTube and delete the video in the camcorder after uploading it to YouTube,

@SpillSumFun Let me explain it as best i can you can take 1 hour of footage wheither it be one clip or several clips. After you put the clip or clips on your computer or upload it to youtube you can delete the clips on your camera and record another. Hope I helped

@mrlol623 No, do not get it, for $119 you can get a Kodak Playsport at Sam's. It shoots 1080p, goes underwater, and shoots well even at night. I can go on and on listing better features on the Kodak, not to mention the price. Get the Kodak, research it yourself, you will be amazed how much better the Kodak is.The flips only sell now because of fame, and the other, better cameras are unheard of due to popularity. Its not good for youtube, or home videos, or ANYTHING. FLIP SUCKS. -I bought Kodak!!

i have one, the flip with the 2 hour video holder. likes- is extrememly easy to use, good quaulity outdoors, ok inside. dislike- it felll like 10000000 times, and gets pretty dinged up, but u can get a 10$ tripod at wal mart to fix it. zoom sucks, plain and simple. has crappy battery life too. but, i like it alot. check my vids, i used it in everyone since christmas (they are fingerboard videos)

@xxxrandomedudexxx2 i got my flip about 3 months ago 2nd gen. i would say yes and no bc the flip ultra can record up to 1 hour to 2 hours of video depending on how much time on the one you buy (i bought the flip ultra hd 2nd gen-1 hour for $99)its really work good outside,no cuz it can be shakey sometimes but sometimes doesnet show.

The usb arm is awesome except for the fact that the spring that makes the usb arm cover thing when I put the arm back away won't automatically close, it's broken, any way to fix it. also the screen got dust in it and i have no way to fix that either.

Weird. I never got a lanyard for my Flip. Sadly its 4 gigs and its the gen before the new gen flip. Doesnt have image stabilization :( but im glad i got it for free :)

@VIOLENTVIDEO wichever are the newer versions , they are pretty decent , but ur limited to things u can do... if u just want footage its a good starter camera , but imo the cheapest camera u can get thats REALLY good for skating is the JVC Everio GZ-HM200 .. it has a 30.5 mm lens and tread so u can attach a fisheye and its also HD.. great quality
