  • i wanna tell my parents but im afraid that they will become sad... I will feel really bad if they become sad... :(

  • Wow, I never would have guessed he was born female! Very masculine:)

  • I dont see him calling it a birth defect insulting. If being born with an extra arm is a birth defect, or being born with not all fingers, why couldnt being born with the wrong gender be a birth defect?

  • awwwwwwwwwwww- what a great dad

  • you couldn't ask for a better father in my opinion.

  • I'd spank my son too if he came out and told me he wanted to be a transsexual... -_-

  • @marmarluxia You don't WANT to be a transsexual, that's how you're born. Your born with the completely wrong body if you're a transgendered person. I know, because I am a transman. I was born to grow up as a girl, but later in life, I noticed that my body did NOT belong to who I am and my personality. So it's nothing you WANT to be or becoming later on in life, you're BORN this way. And if you loves your child, it doesn't matter to you which gender it has. Right?

  • @marmarluxia Your son should spank you if you tried. It's not a choice to be trans or not. It's got to do with hormones. Until the 8th week in the womb, all of us are girls. After the 8th week some start to ''develop'' into a guy. That's where it goes wrong for transgenders. They end up with a female or male brain (gender identity) and the opposite body. It's not a choice, it's not something psychological, it's physiological. The brain of an FTM is 'hardwired' like a mans, the MTF's like a woman

  • That was a great video, It is so awesome that your dad saw it that way. I would have had a hard time with my transition if my family and friends weren't there for me. Good luck to you and you look great

  • Well, you have to love your own kid no matter what-shit's you know, your own blood.

  • birth defect? Oh God! that's really an insult.

  • I don't think that he meant it to be insulting, I'm trans and I sometimes refer to my transgendered issues as being a birth defect..so I don't think he meant to be insulting, but if someone was being crude and saying that, then yes I see what you mean.

  • Well GID is a birth defect, how isnt being born into the wrong sex a birth defect?

  • hell yeah they are from OKLAHOMA!!!!

  • Birth Defect. thats a offensive. I have a Transexual for a sister and she is one of the most beautiful people I have ever known, she is very strong and would never call her "penis" a birth defect.

  • eehm, that's probably not meant offensive, but more because science right now is pretty sure that transsexuality occurs as some sort of birth-defect, because of some chemicals before birth, which causes the wrong brain-wiring in the wrong body. he's just using his knowledge as he knows it, i think. it's nothing personal, just clean (little cold) science.

  • I know, I agree but I think what he meant was a condition that happened through birth, which is a birth defect, it wasn't meant to be offensive and I don't take offensive to it, he is acknowledging it isn't choice.

  • I was so happy while seeing this and I have deep respect for the father. Why can't all people think like him ?

  • awh :( tearjerker when his dad lost it a bit

  • yeah... i wish i could have parents like that.. but i have enough love with my mother in law ^_^

  • what a great dad.

  • VERY GOOOOD VIDEO..Very touching... makes me wanna tell my dad...uuuum...well MAYBE NOT!!!

  • you moron she is a female to male transsexual. He goes by he moron.

  • OMG I was soooo impressed by that Dad. He was honest about his feelings but he also chose to open himself up to his son's experience and to actually learn about it. Wow, why can't all parents be like that?

  • aaww very sad but very interesting to watch!

    Post more vids!

  • I don't get how people act as if its so hard to accept and love your child how could u make a child and abandon he or she because of their life style its sad how they treat these people now days
