Su autora es Isolina Carrillo, nacida en La Habana y fallecida en la misma ciudad en 1996, manteniedose activa hasta su muerte. El hecho de que Daniel Santos interpretara Dos Gardenias, no la hace boricua, este es precisamente la cancion mas famosa de Isolina....un saludo, un amigo cubano, y q conste, mi suenno es conocer el Puertorro, asi q no offense!!!!
