  • Question. I was thinking of getting the compressore as well as the distorsore, but is it worth it to get both, since this one already has a compression feature?

  • @ConnorStinehartMusic Obviously the Compressore has a lot more control (gain, threshold, ratio, attack, release) so it's much superior. Also you would then have separate control of the distortion and the compression. With the Distorsore, you would only have compression when the distortion is activated.

  • 2 tubes inside? or 1 tube?

  • @fedefesioegore One tube.

  • how long until we get a multi channel programmable version? :D

  • I don't mind the talking. This is about as complicated as distortion pedals get; it's nice to have something sufficiently explained. I would like to hear it with a passive bass, though.

  • @Bravohalo definitely. i only play passive basses. can never get a decent review anymore

  • 5:05 would sound amazing with wah

  • when you said fuzz tone chaos i just about shit my pants

  • Hello! I've got a question. Where can I hear examples of sound in the lower tunings, B or even A tuning. I am interested in the sound close to Messhugah kind of sound of distorted bass. And it will be awesome to here sound from professional mic, coz mic of camera also distores the sound and We get not a clean representation of that pedal. Thank you=)

  • @s1avache Dick from Meshuggah has one of these pedals! i'm not sure if he's used it on any recordings or live yet. I play a 5-string, I use it all the time.

Yeah, I get the message about the sound, and will do a better job of the recording in future.

  • i would like to see another demo of this video with more playing and less talk as well. I notice you have the gain maxed out on every sample and wonder why you have it set like that. Id also like to see more of the high pass and low pass filter capabilities.

  • I hate to be a naysayer, but man, you've gotta be more concise. Too much fluff, not enough sound. Not to mention that it sounds like you're using an onboard camera mic to record a small combo amp in an empty, highly reverberant room. I get bored with the video before you even get to playing, and it's hard to hear what the pedal actually sounds like when you do finally play.

Can we get another video with less talk and more rock?

  • @MisterSpankyPants Thanks for the ideas. This was one of my first videos and I learned a lot from it. Sorry to bore you. I assure you this is not a boring pedal, I used it to very good effect on a gig just last night. I will try to make future videos more entertaining.

  • @MarkbassAmps Whoa, rereading that, I realize I sounded way more critical than I had meant. I was just trying to say that I'd like to hear more examples. My bad.

  • @MisterSpankyPants You raised some good points though! I could have planned the playing samples better, had more audio earlier in the video, recorded it with some direct signal, etc. Lessons learned for future videos.

  • First listen @ 4:04

    talkatalkatalkatalka

  • That's a fuzz, not distortion...

  • @darkglasseffects It does both! Depends how you have it set. The distortion can be as subtle as you want, since you can control the amount of drive, the frequency range of the drive, and the mix between clean and distorted.

  • The ultimate Distorsion for Bass!!!!

  • It's a shame all these pedals are 12v.

  • why? am i missing something?
