The second part of this boss was the most EPIC Sonic DS boss battle EVER!!

The music made the final blast extremely hyper and gave you that real kick in your pulse only a REAL Sonic boss can. This part beats even the Super Sonic boss in my opinion.

They should have made Sonic Adventure 2's boss like this. Fighting as hard as you can to push the Ark back up into space and away from Earth, instead of making it a cutscene, it should have been part of that Biolizard boss.
